Finally beat level 4. 2nd part of the level is easier then the first by a long shot. Snake boss is annoying. Not fun annoying but just annoying and if you don’t have that spear upgrade where you can throw the spear fullscreen he becomes much more difficult. Even though you can beat him without the upgrade it’s still very annoying. Worst boss in the game so far. And I say worst in the sense that he’s not cheap or too difficult but he’s just not fun to fight at all unlike the rest of them.
Anyone have a good LP I could look at? A YT search didn’t turn up anything exhaustive. Got to the 5th level boss, his first pattern is easy but the second pattern with the bullet hell I couldn’t figure out. I guess you have to dodge roll to avoid the shots.
You can’t roll through projectiles//attacks, just bodies. Shield is the other way around. Some attacks you can’t block, the shockwave for example.
I haven’t gotten to the fifth boss yet so idk what it looks like
Just beat it. Total time I would say is between 6-8 hours roughly. Didn’t get the best ending but it was just to get used to the levels and patterns and all that. I prefer to just beat a game then later on going through and finding all the secrets.
Is this game good? Yes. Is it a classic in the making? Probably. The only thing that underwhelms me is that the bosses have (for the most part) a really simplistic pattern and the difficulty is based around you having one chance to kill the boss and having to re-do the 2nd half of the level if you fuck up. If you had x number of lives at all times the bosses would be piss-easy. I don’t think I like this design.
Everything else is great except the snake boss who would I call the most underwhelming and hype-less boss in the game. I think around this weekend I’ll try and find those alternate levels and secrets.

This sucks. I wouldn’t be as upset if the number wasn’t basically 0%. I understand a couple of people stealing it, and anybody who releases anything should, but 4% is scumbag as all shit.
That’s operating on the assumption that all those people who torrented it would have bought the game. Which isn’t accurate at all. By the same token Hotline Miami was torrented to shit but was still a big hit and is now getting a sequel.

I will purchase this game for 3DS on day one.
So I almost got ending A this morning but I had to come to work. Still haven’t beaten it in any form but I can get to level 4 with like 12 Valkyrie spirits so I just go for it. But I get to the boss of five and end up accidentally doing this ^:)^

Haha not me. I just knew if I found a speedrun on YT I would see that kill that I think is super funny. Though this is the game that I’m considering running, its too fun. I’ve been playing for completion, looking for all of the Ankhs and always have all my armor but I’m looking at things and routes I can do while playing through that can be used in a speed run.

Got ending B after work; that last level is a bitch lol the rules of the game are just all different. Took me about an hour and 10 minutes. Probably will end up playing it some more tomorrow, I don’t think I’m gonna be super busy this week. Credits were really fun.
Welcome to indie DRM free releases of video games. I would say that everyone should just release on steam but that’s so easily cracked… I remember buying world of goo, and being one of the 5%

Not to sound like an ass, but every PC release DRM or not goes through it, and companies will have to deal with it. DRM doesn’t work, it only makes shit worse for us legit customers. Only real counter is to use subscription based model, but people wouldn’t like that shit for genres outside of MMOs.
Or they can release exclusively on consoles, but they have their own drawbacks and can be eventually hacked too…
Anyway, still haven’t played this (although I bought it) due to La Mulana and IWKT Kamilia 2 taking way longer than expected.
