Cool trailer and that game manual is GDLK it brought me back to the days where I would not play a game until I read the manual lol. I miss those informative manuals it sucks ever since last generation 95% of developers cheap out on manuals making them 8 pages long with 3 words and 1 picture a page.
So jacked for Friday now. Gonna play all weekend :hype: That trailer OZ posted was one of the best put together trailers I’ve ever seen. Its exactly like what Beta said, showing the guy learn “how” to play was fucking amazing.
Worse than cheaping out on a manual, forcing you to play a 5hr tutorial because they didn’t give you a manual.
The popular trend of treating gamers like mentally retarded 5 year olds stems from the fact that gaming is now a mainstream hobby. There are millions upon millions of gamers now that didn’t exist in the 90’s so most publishers and developers get prematurely worried the new influx of gamers won’t understand how to play a game and will get frustrated and not buy anymore games, thus the hand holding era began. I understand the need to appeal to as wide an audience as possible however, I don’t think doing that is synonymous with dumbing down games.
The game industry has vastly under estimated the intelligence of all gamers, but it’s good to see the revival of developers like you guys who still treat us as equals.
Will pick this up.
As for the hand-holding of recent games. I remember hearing that the reason why nearly every game has a lengthy tutorial is because publishers make the demand not because that the game may be too hard but that the player may not have access to the manual and not know what to do.
See Megaman X Egoraptor video whateverthefuckitisyoualreadyknowandwilllinkitafterlookingatboobies.
Yeah I really like Sequelitis. X video is definitely the best of the series too.

The assbag manager was like, “We haven’t carried those in years.”
Sigh.
Time to hit up Target for that Logitech.
Man I used to go to blockbuster and open up the rental games to see if they still had a manual inside and spend my time reading that stuff.
RIP blockbuster and manuals.

Grades don’t matter…right?
$10 on GoG
Pay $11 on the Developer’s site and you get a Steam key too.
Took me a good half hour to beat the first level. Follows Ninja Gaiden rules where if you die at the boss you start all over again. 1st boss has a deceptively easy pattern but you need good reactions or you die in 1-3 mistakes. Good game. Wish his walk speed was a little bit faster but otherwise it’s flaweless in terms of control.
Whats the farthest everybody has gotten? I made it to the 2nd level boss with no armor left so he whooped my ass real quick… First run through the first level took me about half an hour as well. I got it down to like 8 now after I figured it out.
