Yeah, I’ve seen a few Pugs at the pet store. They’re so cute. I really want to get one but my boyfriend doesn’t want anymore pets 'cause he thinks the ones we already have are a handful.:sad:

Sorry to hear about your little guy there. I was actually thinking about getting myself two Emperor Scorpions. Are they hard to take care of? And what do they eat? Crickets?

I started off with 2. Later found out that one was pregnant.
If you’re gonna get 2, make sure one is not pregnant. If she is, then it’s best to keep them in separate containers. Relieves the stress and aggressiveness. You can tell if its pregnant by looking at the bulk of the body area - it swells/expands and you can see a lot of grayish membrane area between each black section of the exoskeleton.
They’re very easy to take care of once they’re all set up. Humidity and Temperature are the only two things you really need to worry about. No problem.
They eat crickets or meal worms. I just feed them crickets. They always eat the head first and suck its juices for minutes on end. It’s cool.
They’re very docile, contrary to popular belief.

I was so excited when I found out that I had a pregnant scorpion, was hoping to see the babies too - they can have several at a time. I believe 10+ is possible. They’re all tiny, and they’re white. In the first few weeks (or months?) they all live on top of the mother. So imagine a scorpion covered with a whole bunch of tiny white critters. Awesome eh?
Yeah, too bad I didn’t get that far through. I found her dead one day a few days after she had molted. Apparently they’re very sensitive after they molt, and its recommended that they’re kept away from other scorpions (otherwise they have cannibalistic behaviors + stress & extra aggression).

Yeah, pugs look like frogs when the lay down like that. Now, those you wiht pugs, where did you get them from? I got mine from a rescue.
