Didn’t really feel this album. I kinda did at first but it just didn’t have “replay” value for me…
Pretty dope album,Idk if it grabs my attention like the 1st two did tho;my joint is that jellyfish song.
Pretty much what it comes down to for me are the tracks featuring damon. Those are the best on the album. The others will grow on me eventually but for now, long live 2d.
On Melancholy Hill is probably my favorite now that I have listened to the album a few times. But the I could have sworn I heard the beat somewhere before.
But it has a nice up beat tempo and just a fun song to listen to.

This album is nothing like the previous album, I have no idea what they were trying to accomplish with this one and I don’t understand any of it. In other words I love it. :tup:

White Flag is a godlike track.
This album feels like a mixed bag to me, a whole lot of different stuff thrown together, but I think it’s good altogether. Not my favorite album among the gorillaz, but I really like Broken and Empire Ants.
Few of my friends didn’t even realize that it was a gorillaz album until it got to the rhinestone eyes track.
Haven’t really gave it too many listens, but i’m not feeling it too much right now. Hopefully it grows on me.
My favorite song so far is Empire Ants, it really sets a mood.
What? No, like Demon Days, there is a lot new about this album. There has never been a song like White Flag or Sweepstakes, and all throughout, he brings things that exist in the artistic side of music into the pop field. Yes, the melodies are simple, but you can’t honestly claim that this album is “nothing new.” It bring a lot of new material to the pop world that hasn’t yet been seen.
Finally got my special edition cd in.

I just downloaded the whole album and I have to say I’m ashamed of myself that I dismissed this album so quickly. I love it now aside from two songs that don’t come to mind right now. But yeah, great album - not their best but is pretty awesome.
now go pay for it.
