Issue is DDR3 Ram is now harder to Find out in the market, go with the Ryzen CPU and you be able to get DDR4 Ram.
It will also give you a open upgrade path in the future when you might want to upgrade the CPU.
You can also get a AMD Ryzen B350 (B50 is the board chipset) for a reasonable price.
The B320’s are not worth it, and the X370 are Enthusiast grade.
There is no more upgrades for the AMD FX series unless you want to replace the Motherboard and Ram as well
thanks for the links i appreciate it. it seems every single pc guy i ask all gives me complete different answers which i hate. i was told that the cooler stuff that u put to cool down your cpu is a bitch to deal with. having to open the pc every so often to put the stuff on it that a fan is better. can i just get a fan so i wont have to worry about doing that or is it really not a big issue?
Thermal paste? that stuff is easy. You don’t need to open up your PC case if you have good air flow. Use the Air fans vents that are provided with the biggest fans you can fit. With most cases thats typically 120mm fans.
idk i was told that the paste cooling stuff was a hassle so idk it sucks with pcs you ask 10 people something and you get 10 different answers theres too much cash involved to be told wrong lol
do you agree i should wait till cyber monday to get a good pc i heard most pc parts are half off that day so then i can get a super top notch for the price of 5-600
I never actually got that in the PC enthusiast community. There is like a dozen ways to apply thermal grease and people debate that till they are blue in the face.
But as for what to use, everyone that have some intelligence will tell you to read reviews and choose one of several higher tier brands to use.
On top of that most CPU coolers, both stock and aftermarket comes with their own thermal compound pre-applied.
im thinking about getting a i 5, or the amd you posted. Alot of people say amd isnt as good as intel. What is the difference? Why is intel better that amd has 6 cores over the i 5? I was thinking of getting that only had 4 and its actually cheaper for the amd. is it kind of like nike that your paying more for the brand than the actual product?
Intel has better single core performance, AMD has better multi threaded performance
Right now the trend for PC programs is going towards multi threading
im buying the pc tonight is this a good deal for this i7 normally id not get a i 7 but 69 bucks for a used i7 sounds great but seems to good to be true so what do you guys think of this?
