It seems every major that gets thrown on a weekend, I work thru the whole shit on my way in now :(ā¦Iāve watched about 5% of KOF and Marvel thoā¦enough to see Jas is turning into a ghetto celebrity. good shitā¦and Iām still looking forward to the days coming up when I can fucking camp out at GGā¦yall gon get tired of my ass when i move.
Astaroth update - Iām home now and about to watch the stream. I got 3rd in my SC5 pool. It was full of killers. BigBoi (a well-known, strong SC player in the south), KDZ, me (yes, Iām a killer), and a few other people that Iād heard of in past streams. My very first match was against Gamer D-Wreck, a Memphis player. That instantly showed me that the brackets werenāt seeded by location much, if at all.
Sadly, I went 1-2 in Marvel. Beat some dude 2-0, then instantly had to play PR Rog. Input errors cost me both matches. If Dormās Chaotic Flame wouldāve dhcāed, Spencer wouldāve died and I couldāve mixed up his incoming character. The best part though was that I put up a hell of a fight. He didnāt steamroll me like he thought he was going to do. The match after that was against a dude using a cheap Frank West team, wherein one hit guarantees level 5 Frank. Stupidly, that guy ocvāed our team in the team tournament (one single person knocked me out of both Marvel tournaments).
Donāt get me started on Marvel pools starting late. My pool was supposed to start at 4:00, but instead started at 9:30. I was tired, hungry, and frustrated, and it showed in my matches.
That Shinblade match was pretty damn epic. I am glad that we have strong KOF players here in TN.

Jose I do wanna say man, thank you thank you thank you for promoting TN and MWC on the stream man. Like I said, I donāt have the pull that you do from your MvC2 OG days, so there was no way they were letting No Name TN Bison #6 on that stream to promote.
There is something else I wanna say - as āHollywoodā as a lot of these majors are getting, and that can be good or bad depending on who you are and how you wanna interpret, I wouldnāt trade MWC being TN and grassroots for anything. We are putting in work and building our scene up the way we should be doing. Now that Pat, Marcus, and Jose have put us on, the sky is the limit. Now all I want to do is get better so I can be right with my niggas in top 16ā¦REPPING.
My post sounded ultra salty, but Iām really not. I had a blast and am super proud of the repping TN has done this weekend. We get more and more on the map every tournament.
Also, Viscant told me he was planning on coming to MWC, and if heās coming, Iām assuming Clockwork and the some of the rest of his team is coming.

People planning tournaments in the very near future, keep in mind Motherās Day is Sunday, May 13th. Please try and schedule stuff away from that weekend. My mom has already hit me up to save the date to chill with her and my grandmother that day, so if something DOES happen that weekend, unless itās local, I prolly wonāt be able to make it.
