i should come early today but im gonna b leaving at 3:30 for work but good games on thursday and friday and that akuma guy surprised me out of nowhere i forgot about that style of play with akuma cause the player base around here is kinda limited its either p groove cammy, rolento, vega, hibiki, sagat or n groove cbs its good that gta is getting more and more variety i hope more ffa people come down especially combofiend i want to play that guy i heard hes really good now.

you should play YAMAZAKI, cuz his level one grab super has pretty good priority…DODGE then half circle back twice super.
ATHENA :tdown: , all she has is her stupid down fierce…easily counter by a good short hopper, like blanka.
Yeah, Yamazaki is a very good character. that fuckin grab super always gets me, and it has far range.
i was doing alright against danny tonight, i think. But when he used yamazaki, he’d do an empty jump, then grab super me when i was still a little distance away, it still got me…

hahaha. if i get rid of athena and pick up yamazaki, then i’d STILL need a third character. i’m gonna try boxer m. bison. he seems like a good character, but never actually used him. we’ll see…
just use yama as ur third character then… hes got a good dodge counter attack too (its the hard kick one and it knocks down too) ur athena is good too even against a small jump blanka just dodge and quick attack just gauge when to dodge so he cant empty small jump and grab and if he does mix it up good tech his ass and he has nothing.
blah…athena sucks unless you plan to TURTLE ALL DAY and be in the corner 90% of the time like some people, then any damn character wouldn’t really matter now does it? just about everydamn character has a gay antiair like a down fierce, and for some people, thats all they use (but whatever works works, and kills the fun and the same time) u can pick worst character and TURTLE all day to do damage with some randomass supers, BUT where’s the fun in that?
but anyways…S GROOVE is fun and shit, but you can get thrown everytime you dodge (and i dont think u can tech hit a throw while you’re dodging) so dont abuse it.
besides FOBIO, you should focus on MARVEL more…like me… since it’s more fun.
i think you know from experience that BLANKA is the best counter against ATHENA’S gay down fierce. and BLANKA happens to be one of the best all around characters of the game, and everyone knows that…
