So how do you break away from Magnito’s grab into magnetic tempest? I’m getting tired of not stoping that. By the way, I like Doom’s anti-air, chips away life so easily…who needs combos anyways.
uh… everybody needs combos. the people who don’t rely on it all the time would be strider/doom.
but to mash out of the hyper grav xx tempest, you gotta literally mash at the buttons and wiggle the joystick (the joystick is more important) when the hyper grav hits you. you’re supposed to start mashing just after magneto says “tempest,” or something like that. I’m not so sure. i just mash when i initially get hit. i don’t think it hurts to do it early. people just look “cooler” when they do it with one stroke and get out of it. who cares, as long as you don’t get hit by it.
not that it’s cooler, it’s just more effective with the first stroke because the first is always the fastest and yea wiggling the joystick is alot more important than the buttons. and yea, u guys need to learn how to get out of that.

yeah ggs too i was doing better today then others on the ol cvs2 im starting to like ryu more and more but i still need to sit my ass down for a day and practice in 3s i havent been brushing up on my urien at all but i have been messing around with Q i think hes really fun to play with. gta is starting to grow now that nam realizes ddr and initial d isnt the only way an arcade could ever make money i hope it keeps up and stronger opponents keep appearing… i look forward to crushing all of them mu hu haha… jk

my girlfriend likes to play cvs2, but MADDRIFTER was just beating everybody down she couldn’t get a chance to play.
Oh yeah, that reminds me of the first time I saw her play. There was this group of guys thinking they could beat her since it was ‘just a girl’ but ended up getting their asses handed horribly to them one by one. Now that was pure comedy. :tup:
