That trailer was FUCKING REAL. I am pretty fucking hype about this movie. As a fan of the old movies as a kid, that trailer made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside with nostalgia. That trailer alone is better than the entirety of the 1998 piece of shit.

I missed this the first time. Honestly, judging whether a movie bombed or not requires access to financials most of us aren’t privy to (DON’T say “bububut it made its budget back!”). Other than China, PR didn’t do well, but apparently a sequel is coming so that’s, what really matters. There just needs to be more NOT-superhero/kids cartoon/dumb comedy movies during the summer season (nothing wrong with those movies, except for total lack of variety).
