Looking forward to watching Nemo’s Chun play.
So I guess a few Japanese players who would likely otherwise be in attendance are at World Game Cup in France this weekend? Their thread and their frontpage article lists Fuudo, Daigo, Eita, and Desora.
I’m sort of looking forward to seeing this. If I’m not mistaken, SF4 is the first fighting game in Japan that’s really had a huge and strong base of console/online players. I wouldn’t know any names but I hope that some of the guys on that list are those homemade heroes that we never actually hear about over here because their country is still so legitimately dominated by the arcade scene.

Going from the entry list, I’d be on the lookout for Hiropon and for Kinpatsu. They’re both Seth players that I’ve played and they are quite good.

Man, ive been playing much worse lately (not that im playing that much but my last session yday pissed me off, my reaction really went to shit)… I admit there might be reasons for my inability to focus at the moment, im going tomorrow just to have a good time like last time, hopefully can get few pointers from much better players and this time i be bringing a camera haha.
How to recognize any of you guys? I’m asian(look chinese/japanese), glasses, red jacket(the only reliable one been wearin for nearly 2 years now i need to get a new one haha)… and my english aint that good so i might give you a hard time

Im leaving work now and heading for Tokyo for the whole weekend so I wont be checking SRK till after this weekend. Ill see some of you guys there. Ill be the guy in the Dream Theater hat.

oh and from readin ur post, its safe to say you havent bought the ticket yet, ive heard that only a few tickets are left (though they might be bluffing) but still the official site says come early for those who havent bought the ticket yet(dont think you can buy at lawson anymore now).

Please try to record as many of the console-only tournament matches as possible! (Either show it on the stream and archive it, or record it separately and put them on Youtube later). It is a very good idea for a tournament and I want to see all these top players using a new character. I will definitely try to watch the stream when they show those matches! I’m already scared at the thought of Kindevu using Cammy.
