Meh, had to go away for a bit… is it over?
Did not know STRIPFIGHTERIV was a pad player… o_O
No. They just stopped the stream for 5 minutes
I’m no 'Gief player, but wouldn’t Ultra II be better against Vega?
Grand Finals - Ibuki (Akua?) vs Chun (Nemo) I think
acqua, correct
fuck you, chun li
- Nemo (CH)
- Aqua (IB)
- Tonpi (CV)
Nemo dominated
female characters dominated. Vega is female.

Japanese tournaments are much better, because it’s hard to guess who will win. Different people win all the time.
is this invitational? why isn’t sako in this?
Because he never goes outside… At least not for tournaments
Sako went to tournaments. he just doesn’t want to go to tournaments anymore. he is already consider fighting game god in Japan.
you can find vid of him playing on sbo in youtube.
He doesn’t want to lose his nah credentials.
Yea their skill lvl is higher.
They have like many ppl on J. Wong’s level compared to the US while we have only a handful of ppl on J. Wong’s level.
Plus they have variety as well which we lack but getting better at.
I also noticed that they just played overall more solid than us as usual.
Man, this tournament was really fun.
I just started playing Rose not very long ago but I really like her. I didnt do very well in my stream match. It was my first match and I was super nervous and my execution was shit. I did better later though. I beat the route (BRG), Asuka (GOK), karono (CDY) and lost to Maho syoujyo Zangitan (ZNG), titimonda Honda (VEG), R (GUY), so I went 3 and 3 in my pool. I guess thats not too bad. Im probly gonna start playing Super more now that GG SBO quals are over.
But yea, the venue was awsome and I pounded tons of beers and had fun playing casuals. Did pretty well in casuals too.
Awsome stuff, i wish I lived in japan.
Reached home at 730am and crashed for 7 hours straight.
The place was small compared to the prev event but I guess since theres no on the day ticket being sold, it wasnt as packed as the first one so its all good.
Everyone in my group(except kokujin) always went for the 1p side because if youre 2P, you are going to play without the ability to move your head/neck or youre gonna risk bruising em lmao
So ive set up the excuse, I lost all of my matches, didnt know how to play against Gen and Dan so I kinda got owned there, Chun Li was fuckin annoyin and I got impatient and just ate a lot of pokes and I’ve pretty much given up by the time I fought Cody. Surprising I did best against the supposedly “better” players - inco(rufus) and kokujin(ryu) - nearly took those two matches.
Had fun playing casuals agains Scott Popular, Bull410, ElvenShadow and some other japanese.
I was glad i didnt bring my own stick, everything was on xbox… plus the sticks provided were good… still id prefer using my ownnnnnn.
Overall fun event, tiring as fuck sure but 13 hours of FG action will always do that to you.
Nice to know there was an Abel there although I didn’t see any during the stream. Why couldn’t you move your head when on 2p? I thought they had individual monitors for each player?
