I got 3rd in the Iowa tournament last year (single-elim), and almost beat the guy that won it, without ever playing the game. I’ll take you up in that offer… game feels like SamSho (the first two).

How about you fly up here, then we can raise the stakes in TSS and MD3 (if you play that)? I’ll definitely practice that game again if you show up to this.

As for Whose taking SSF4, Big Marcus is the favorite, but after that, its anyone’s game. And that is the only game that Chicago has a chance in.

there is a 70% chance I’ll be in MN in october for work… i’m going to try my best to make it up in November for Raging Storm, and we have a MN December vacation in the works… so MN will see me at least once again this year.

Nah, 56K didn’t play MB at Raging Storm. I think he just played SF4, Marvel and Smash. The fifth person who played was Yggdrasil. I hope he’s still around when Arcana Heart 3 gets released on PS3/360.

As far as prizes go, usually the prize split is 60/30/10, although I’m not sure if GnG is throwing down any extra cash. SSF4 typically has had between 40-50 players without out of state competition, so I’d imagine that first place without any bonus is around $300.
