:looney:

NICE. Thanks for the in-depth answer.

Hehe. Fun video.

Is there a Wall of Pain for Pit?
How many jumps does Pit have?
Can Pit jump off a ledge, away from the ledge, for a maximum number of jumps and then make it back by doing Up B?

No.

4 or 5. Probably 4.

Haha. Yes. That’s easily done with Pit’s insane up b recovery.

HeartNana should come to NJ and beat my ass in GNT4. It’ll be okay, since I can beat you in Brawl! XD

UndrDog updated his Pit demo vid: vxErMO9Ujtg&feature=PlayList&p=373FB416A25E4CD5&index=3"]UndrWold 2.0. The “Playing on the Edge” section is very useful and the “Wing Renewal” section demonstrates something really cool: Pit has “unfly.” What “wing renewal” lets you do is use the Up B special Wings of Icarus more than once during a set of jumps. This discovery was made by Sagemoon and you can find the thread about it .

To do it you do Pit’s Up B special then lower yourself so you touch the stage (the top part of the stage not the bottom or sides) or a platform, but make sure you don’t completely land. This “resets”/renews your Up B/activates unfly. To make use of your multiple Up Bs you must attack out of your Up B with one of his air attacks and you are then allowed to use up the rest of any remaining jumps and Up B again. You can unfly multiple times by touching the stage/a platform during your second (or third or fourth) Up B. Keep in mind you can still glide from your jumps, so you could do something like Up B, unfly, Back Air, jump, glide, jump, Up B again.

You can probably figure out some nice set-ups with this but a couple uses are to Up B-unfly once you’ve knocked the opponent offstage to chase/edgeguard with an air attack while still having all your jumps + another Up B or you can do it when your opponent is still on the stage to give you another approach option.

Okay, I want to make sure I’m doing it right:

 1. Small jump.
 2. Up B.
 3. (Being off the ground,) Float to touch the ground.
 4. Go do whatever mix of things.
 5. End with an Up B and fly back to the stage in safety.

Is that right?

Pretty much yeah. You don’t really have to small jump, just make sure you Up B, touch the stage or a platform (don’t land), attack out of your Up B, then you can jump, attack, glide, etc. Up B again to get back to the stage or Up B then touch the stage/platform again to reset your Up B.

anybody have a vid of pit’s wall of pain?

@shiningsoul:
Good stuff. Thanks.
(From The Critic:) “Country Farm Green Peas. Filled with country goodness, as well as green pea…ness…That’s terrible.”

@Insomniac487:
My understanding was that there isn’t one. Other, more experience players, have ruled out Pit’s Wall of Pain.

If I remember correctly, if you dair a guy, he’ll fly UPWARDS. And I DON’T mean Ganondorf bounce off the ground. (I might be thinking of MetaKnight.)

Got a newb question.

Does anybody at all play with wiimote instead of GC controller?
I can’t get the glide to come out using the wiimote. I held up in my second (or later) jumps and he just doesn’t glide. Sometimes it comes out randomly and I’m not sure what I did.

Or does it only work when you’re using an analog stick?
