How many marvel machines do they have?
are the mvc2 sticks/buttons still fucked up? i plan to roll through tomorrow around 5 or so.

Yeah u I got to remind the the guy to get new sticks. We did get new sticks for the 3s machine. And Cvs2 works fine as far as i know. Just marvel is fucked up. After school im going to go try to find a new stick and put in on the left side.
We used to have 2 one big one and one small one. Now we only have the big one.
Edit i’ll be there around 12:30 or 1 pm.
Update:
As of today 9/14/2006 all the machines work. I went in and fixed the left side on the marvel cab. We are still going to buy new sticks but i put in a couple of new micro switches.

Yeah all machines will be in event mode but I was thinking that insted of giving the players all the pot they could get some of the pot+ prizes. This way we get some of the money to get new games/Sticks and buttons.

Whats the button layout, and what type of sticks are used ?
Is the arcade asian ( AI, SA ) or american ( Camelot, FFA ) style ?

i went tonight and played with the guys from the tattoo shop in cvs2. umm, 2nd player side medium punch is kinda iffy. i only got to play cvs2 but everything was working well.
i’m glad glady’s is back in working condition. LET’S DO THIS CARLOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

As far as the sticks go IDK I’ve never oped the machine before… but where about to put in some comp buttons on it in a few days. The layout is NeoGeo Style. But we might change this if people don’t like it.
Keep it Neo-Geo style, screw the the PS2 layout since its only for people who don’t play in arcades, plus everyone played the Neo-Geo style version for years and nobody had a problem with it:tup:

Thats the official layout ( also the ones in which the japanese play ) and the default one for the PS2. It makes the player use the E button easier, and to increase the probability percentage of a quickshift ( just press the upper buttons together, or the lower ones.
SNK style shouldnt be recommended coz in higher gameplay, the QS is very emphazised, but with that layout it will be a lil harder to perform it :
- B C D … pressing A+C or B+D is harder here than here : A C E
A ----- E ----------------------------------------------------------B D
But really, the official layout is the square form alike. KOF 2003 had that layout too ( without the E button ).
If people wanna play in ther homes, then one can choose whatever layout they want and feel comfortable … but for the rest … the default option should be the way to go.
When I was talking about the sticks, I meant if they were sanwa ( lolipop ) or 360s ( big black american ) alike.

Well then i’ll go with the Jap Style layout. And the sticks are american they aren’t p360’s tho.
