indeed. when sc2 first came out i was just a crappy little masher. and i owned everyone with nightmare doin that XD
my best friend is a girl and she plays SC, Tekken, SF3s, CVS2, GGXX and MOTW…
SC she uses Kilik and Maxi, Tekken she uses frikkin kicky kick boy Hwoarang [however you spell it] paul and Brian, CvS2 she uses King, Kyo, and Joe, GGX Anji, Motw she uses Gato…
shes actualy good in SC and Tekken [though in tekken she mashes and i think she mashes in SC too… ] CvS2 shes okay, actualy knows her moves for that… and 3s… well i’m the best in 3s in my whole schol XD pretty sad…
but then again shes a lesbian <<; does that still count?
Maybe they play GG for the same fucking reason you guys do…
All of the Guilt Gear character’s are weird and nasty to me.I thought Bridget was definetly a Girl,but it didn’t turn out that way.Then you have Venom,Faust,Dizzy,and the goth dude that is wielding the giant death-scythe.
i just got scolded by a fat sol badguy crossplayer( a girl cosplaying sol , fat girl ) … because i got the build to cosplay him

I used to frequently go out with a good chick-freind in Japan to play GGXX/ at the Club Sega arcade in Akiba. Her Sol was decent (whose isn’t?) and abused Sidewinder… a lot. She played a good bit of MB:AC too (as Sol Badguy-guy btw).
Her answer as to why she played was: “Order Sol was hot and things spiraled from there.”
Was she black? Because I totally think I might know who you’re talking about.

In Austin there’s a girl or two who plays Slash at Einstein’s Arcade. They aren’t very good, but neither are 90% of the people who go to E’s.
When I was in Tokyo I played at Akihabara Club Sega and there were these 2 girls who had more HOS gimmicks than I do D: I still won 'cuz their blocking was atrocious but still.
It was on head-to-head cabinets though so I was like “what’s going on why do I have a winstreak in TOKYO” but then I noticed the girls swapping off after each game and also they both had their own color with HOS and stuff.
So yeah my Slash winstreak in Tokyo was primarily against some random girls, I suck =(
Heh, one of them may have been my freind. She plays HOS for fun sometimes and doesn’t like to block…
The gameplay & visuals might appeal to a lot of people, but I wonder if the heavy metal theme/soundtrack turns some people away that aren’t into it (male or female).
I don’t like most of the music, but the other factors are enough for me to play it.
Thats because the music and characters pays homage to legendary bands like Venom, Slayer, Iron Maiden, Helloween, Queen, ect…
90% of SRK’ers don’t listen to Venom, ect.
Thats why they get turned off by the music!!
I love that the creator chose the older genre of Rock and Metal and loves the bands I grew up listening to, thats why he made Sol’s profile says his fav. band in Queen and his fav. album is Sheer Heart Attack:bgrin:
I didn’t even had to look up any site to figure out which characters and moves the team based which band on:bgrin:
I don’t think the creator likes the bands of today, so he sticks with the classics:tup:
girl players in japan would probably fare even or better against most average american male players anyway.
