Sorry not sorry for not knowing that female giants was some weird fetish shit. I have played Dungeons and Dragons for a long time and remember exactly once thinking a giant chick was hot, and then I thought about the logistics and decided that it was waaaaaay beyond death by snu snu. I hope there is more substance to the game than some cheap fetish shit, we get enough of that from Japan.

GigaMaidens is of course going to have lots of funny and titillating aspects, like the shrink attacks. But yes, I am aiming for something deeper, otherwise I’d just put out something crappy and quick and call it a day.
What are the shrinking attacks supposed to do? Besides the obvious.

Shrink attacks are just every girl’s ultimate attack where they shrink the opponent and do a variety of crazy things. It’s basically a level 3 from Marvel vs Capcom 3, a cinematic super that does a lot of damage. I was originally thinking that you activate it in a traditional way and that if the shrunken opponent mashes a certain way they have an opportunity to escape the super, where they have to flee from the larger opponent for a few seconds until they grow back to normal, and getting touched by the larger girl means the cinematic proceeds as normal. But lately I’ve been operating on it just being a simple cinematic super.
I’m not projecting, I’m just bein an ass. Calm down son.

Based on the name I was expecting Shrink Supers to have a lot with common with Alessy’s Set or Anakaris’ Pharaoh Curse–a brief but severe depowering that leave the victim some control. I can’t help but imagine that universal lvl3 cutscenes based on Shrinking would get repetitive.
Maybe you’re not picturing the same thing as I am. Giving everyone a Pharaoh Curse would be more repetitive.
Every character has their own unique ways of landing the super.
Oh yeah, of course, but I meant more that a cutscene for it would get tiresome, not the exact means of landing the super. Granted, ‘controllable helplessness’ is sort of tedious in its own way.

Both are quite nice. While I too think the characters are “too big” and wish for more possible stage interactions, hope to see some kind of demo to understand the system and have an actual idea of how characters/game will play someday. Don’t worry, I have no hurry.

I know it looks a little boring right now, since the actual level is still being made, this is just a testing level. As you can probably guess a lot is going into it. We’re testing stuff out in the engine right now to make sure it works. Artists or photoshop masters may wanna take a stab at giving her an opponent. Make her fight Elaine Benes or a duck or Wayne Gretzky or whatever.
