From what I’ve seen, the only movie Marvel has made in-house with obviously positive results is Iron Man. The movies Marvel has co-produced with outside help have a very mixed success rate, but it’s far better than Marvel’s own track record thus far. I have no idea where people are getting the idea that Marvel themselves can make the movie better than anybody else.
Uhhh because IncHulk, IM, IM2, and Thor ARE good movies that no one really complained about.

Incredible Hulk was a completely inconsequential paint-by-the-numbers superhero movie. Iron Man 2 coasts on the qualities of Iron Man 1. I haven’t seen Thor.

Goody, i know you’re somewhat of an intelligent person but seriously the Marvel made movies so far have been good. Even with all the nitpicking and complaints, the general concensus(concensus being 99%) has shown that those movies are well made across the board.
I’d prefer if they didn’t spent time, effort, energy, and money on bullshit gimmicks like 3D and actually make the movie, y’know, good.
