You have no idea how fucking frustrated I was playing with you last night. The worst part was I was playing seriously for 95% of the time. But anyway, the one time where I quit the few matches that we had was I wanted to record a re-play of that REALLY good match you and I had. Namely, my C-Cammy versus your K-Cammy. I was really determinded that match, and I think it was the only one I won.
I seriously don’t know if I want to play this game anymore. Yesterday just showed just how much I don’t understand fighting games. I think my genre of games has to stay music, since they are simple and retarded.
Paul, expect to see that shirt next Friday… possibly. It’s either I come up briefly with Darryl or I go to SVGL for the big Pre-Evo battle (even if the XX comp will probably be scarce).
Yeah, don’t forget to mention Tekken 5 for the meeting, hopefully if we’re lucky enough, we’ll get it right away instead of waiting a couple of months to get it. I doubt #reload will take SC2 cabinet, that game still makes hella money. Most likely that War FPS game, since I never see anybody playing that, and it would be hella cool to see a fighting game with two screens !
People don’t play SC2 cuz it’s in a big cabinet, they play it cuz they like to mash buttons. I think SC2 should go into the “whack a gator” game, then the chumps that play it could win tickets and get some tite ass neon rings and shit.
You shouldn’t quit because Campbell’s a nerd at CvS2, plus it’s lagfighter. You can’t take that shit seriously at all or else you get frusterated by it’s stupidness. I mean, they changed so many game properties… What’s the point of playing that? I understand if you can’t make it to the Atlantis all the time, but you shouldn’t quit fighting games just because of lag-fighter.

#r - Jon was thinking about just building a larger playfield… i suggested it was an ok idea… but the screen has side blinds and probably needs to be altered a bit…
I suggested the MvC2 cabinet… he said he’ll look into it…
CvS2 cabinet was not a good idea since both CvS2 and SC2 both are still making decent money and they felt that by switching the games it would just lower the intake for that game… I agreed…
WAR cabinet… they will look into it… and hopefully be a project for Jeremy something Jon and Randy will discuss…
CvS2/MvC2/#r - I talked to them about the problems from sticks to buttons etc… and they will look into it… esp CvS2 since the did rewire the whole thing it still isnt working properly the short is still coming out… the sticks on mvc2 cvs2 and #r… Jon said that he has already ordered new sticks and buttons and wbn hopefully by Monday.
Monthly Tourney - wasnt discussed much… we suggested once everything was fixed we would pick a date.
Console Arcade - Atlantis seems to be interested in it… and Jon is really pushing it… esp the XBOX stuff… he’ll keep us up to date with info…
Jon has suggested that he wants Marty from Reno Game Sale to bring in 20 games… and wants our inputs on them…

If they trying to do some kind of console arcade thing than party games would be good. And aiming it towards kiddies would be good. Like maybe go with gamecubes and have all the mario party games and the wario minigame thing.
Hard to imagine anyone wanting to pay for play on console games. You would have to offer an experience that isn’t easy to get at home. Maybe have XBox Live so random 56kers can play it. Or that Capcom mecha game with the big dumb controller.

The problem with older games is that unless they have a strong crowd (bemani, fighting game, or a general popular game), is that they are simply filling up space for better games. They may get play occasionally, but it is better to get the most popular games possible. I can’t really think of better games then what I listed that you don’t already have/too new.
As far as possible NEW games that I think would do well and why…
Initial D - The arcade equivalent of printing money.
Pop’n Music - Best possible choice for Bemani fans, IMO. Has a veeeryyy good learning curve (starts off incredibly easy, anyone can beat it to borderline impossible for masters), is kid friendly (colorful graphics, friendly experience) (I would normally suggest IIDX, but the machine just is too expensive, plus the monitor turns to shit in a matter of months.)
Tekken 5 / Capcom Fighting Jam: Obvious choices when they come out.
Well for the Reno crew that is going to Evo. I’ll also be there since I have to pick up several players along the way and I already have the hotel room reserved ready to go.
Also after the tourneys over, I will actually be going to Reno with my parents around August 2nd. (Confirmed)
I would think Super Puzzle Fighter 2 would be hella awesome! Very addictive game! Everybody that I know that has played this loves this game! I think this is the best puzzle game ever!
3rd Strike: This is possibly the best Street Fighter game I’ve ever played. I remember playing this 4 years ago at Circus Circus and was hooked, even though I hella sucked. I would like to get into this game again.
Street Fighter Alpha 3: Atlantis use to have this game, and pretty much reno crew rarely played it, mostly because of ggxx and I guess no interest in this game. I like this game, but I end up just playing the computer most of the time instead of real people.
Initial D: I want to Drift! Pretty sure this game will make hella bank! People drive up to Tahoe just to play this.
Space Harrier: Yeah, I would hella play this!
Suggestion: Please make Mocap Boxing cheaper to like 2 tokens! That game is older than that Samurai Sword game and House of the Dead 3 and they got dropped down to 2 tokens.
Also, I think we all learned something last night… Zombies would kick so much more ass if they were more goal orientated, and if they had varied intrests.
