I found a place that sells Unagi (10 oz. for $5.75) at a reasonable price! I’m gonna cook it tonight and see how it is; maybe I can pick up some other random sushi-grade fishes and we could have a sushi night up at my house? O_o… Who knows. Anyway, c’mon people! Post days/times/locations for the gaming night! I wish out of towners could make it. ;_;

In n Out in Reno is at least a few weeks further along than the Carson City one. I drove by it on the freeway and saw the sign. It was beutiful.

In n’ Out in Reno looks just about done… maybe a day or two away? I swear, I drive by ready to fly off the freeway and land in the drive-thru, so I can order a double-double without driving 90 miles.
The one in Sparks might take awhile, but it’s getting there. Form and everything. Can’t wait til I start going there for lunch and stuff.

Hey guys, have any of you tried #R for Live yet? Is the lag really that bad? I was thinking of getting Live just for #R, but with the way things sound, I’m reconsidering.

Damn yo, I got hella super slow ass lag on Guilty Gear from that one game I got, and that was with somebody with an Excellent Connection. Then again I must have the Poor Connection, since I have the standard cheapest cable broadband for 29.99 a month. I probably have to upgrade, but I have to test it out at XWars to see if it’s laggy or not with their Ultra Premium High Speed Broadband service.
I’m curious how high Reno’s current upload rate max is? I have 30, but I’ve heard of people in California getting up around 300kpbs (!!!) upload. I might have to upgrade just to play it as best as possible.
KB != kb nigga. If they are getting 300kb and you’re getting 30KB then you’re almost even. One kilobyte equals 8 kilobits. So 300 / 8 = 37.5.
It’s not even about bandwidth anyways, it’s about your ping since the game is sending a very tiny packet at a very high frequency. The fact that it has to go from your xbox, to a server, and back to the other fool’s xbox doesn’t help. From what I’ve heard it sounds like the network code is bad. They probably use TCP instead of UDP. Try playing ZSNES on TCP with someone and then on UDP. There is a hella noticable difference since UDP packets are unchecked. If a TCP packet is lost and the next one makes it through, you have to wait a minimum of 3 seconds to for the lost packet since TCP is guaranteed to be in-order.

. I think you have gone from insane to just plain crazy. Anyway, from what I’m hearing about live Aggie tol, it sucks. Sobrang bagal daw, at yong response mo eh napakabagal lahat nang gagawin mo eh kailangan 4 seconds ahead. Worse than CvS2 perhaps?? Vihn, learn how to play the game offline, and see if you can beat some fools online. But it’s better for you to learn the game offline and stuff.
