Basically JI in order to jump-cancel the first j.S and then do another air move. They probably won’t expect THAT. Actually, thats just really retarded. Don’t do this unless you’re cocky as all shit.

Something else…
You can do 214K (FRC), land, and then do forward + taunt. Then steal their wallet…
As utterly wrong as that sounds, it actually worked a couple of times. It just doesn’t feel right to actually do another air attack, whereas I just let the j.s get blocked or something and just 214p or something. Wait, that didn’t sound right either. Oh well, anyway, thanks fellow Anji crew.
Un so latly I have tryed to find a use for double butter fly its like all of a sudden can do it like 70% of the time in match. But we all know that its noting top tier but never the less I will still try. BTW could it be done in Reload or does it fall to fast now?
I’m not sure if they left the double butterfly in reload or not, but yea I think if you can do it, the first one may fall too fast now for lockdown, but hey who knows. I don’t have the balls to try it in anything outside of casual, buttefly setups are too precious to waste.
I’m almost 100% sure you can still do double butterflies in #R. Of course, since it falls faster now, it’s…weird. Damn, I lost my whole train of thought.
Well, I modded my PS2 with a Flip-Top (boot discs were included) and then I bought the Korean version of Reload from Videogamedepot.com. Simple as that.
I got my swap magic disc from modchipstore.com. It’s great because it requires no modding, because you’re basically doing a “safe” knife trick. As for #R, I plan on getting my own from yesasia.com or playasia.com.
Anji has 2 main SuperJump air combo strings, the go as follows.
SJ, K, S, HS, 214P.
SJ, K, S, P, S, D.
Now, while these are very good combos that offer damage and some nice flash, if you are close enough you should be following up connected 214P with Anji’s On command grab (623HS). This sets up into perfect butterfly traps, which are the core of Anji’s game. The easiest and safest way to do this looks like this.
214P, 66, K, S, 623HS.
The 66 is the short dash you need to make towards your opponent as they float off the 214P to make sure you get in proper range to grab them with the On.
Toy around with those, hopefully it’s what you were looking for.
You DEFINENTLY want to go for the On in both versions. As Klaige always says, On = Perfect butterfly traps, and those are a huge source of damage. You could do the air-combo, which might do more damage at first, but then they can tech afterwards. With a perfect butterfly trap, you’re almost guaranteed around 150 dmg combo, unless they have burst or 50% tension (If they burst, you can usually do another air-throw reset anyway).
Actually, you could also go for an air-combo into an air-throw reset after the first air-throw, but that takes balls.
Well before I made my video I was like get my damage now and not in a possible unblockable reset later. but now I do the On into setup becaues of the damage and it gives you control on what is happing next. just or fun I go it fujin loops if I m near the courner. the damage sucks but its cool. Latly I have been using DA combos a lot. Like if they ar no the couner I do shitsu the wait for some kind of counter then Da that shit to k,s to whatever
I don’t have access to frames at the moment but I’m gonna assume Anji is at disadvantage. 214K just gets beat by so many things. I suppose in #R it might be even, or really close since both the stomps got better so to speak.
