Not the right thread to post this, there is a MAMEhub thread somewhere here. Hard to say from watching if this looks like a significant improvement over GGPO. The Skills of the players involved are pretty low so to a laymen watching GGPO matches on youtube it would look perfect to them. Whereas if you play 3S on GGPO you notice a lot of weird shit like being grabbed while in block stun, or an attack randomly interrupting another attack, and etcetera. It looks like it represents the frames of animation correctly, but I won’t try it until the desync and lag spic issues are resolved.

So Ponder finally does something about the GGPO trolls. I just tested it, challenged spam a dude like 4-5 times and it kicked me. This should have been done well over a year ago, but I’m glad to see that he’s finally doing something about it.

Thats sucks. I normally run GGPO and Supercade at the same time. Been wanting to get back into some 2D fighters. Its been a while. Good thing Supercade is working and its back to client base program.
So since the koerans are still DoS attacking regularly and no one is combating them, and GGPO is probably going to die when 3S OE for console comes out using GGPO code. What is the best alternative to play on PC? Supercade, Arclive, etc? I don’t know what they are let alone the differences. Anyone care to list pros and cons?

Go to C:\Program Files\GGPO\ and delete everything except the rom. Then, go to your downloaded folder and extract the new files. No need to install. Just drag those new files into your computer. You’ll be able to log in.
