Eddy - Possibly the most intense matches I have are against this guy. It’s like Extreme Sports Training with weights on my ankles, and no Gatoraid in sight.
White Shadow’s Yoshi is superb. Possibly the best I’ve ever faced.
haha, that Lucario is nasty. I get the most practice against that character, and you still did really really good. Props!

Good games to eddymasta. It was probably the best set of games I’ve ever had online. Your air game with Falcon and Mario is ridiculous and if it weren’t for those little mess ups, you probably would have one the matches I did. Good shit.

GGs xSamuraix. I’m done with Link because he’s not worth the fucking effort. His nerfed recovery is just ridiculous.
Yeah I was surprised at how easy it is to edge guard against him now, I might say try to utilize air dodges more though, might help you get out of some of my air pressure. But yeah…just holding onto the edge for 5 seconds straight really shouldn’t be able to kill a character like that >_<
Why not play Toon Link?
Yea I tried to air dodge but I was still in hit stun. Meta Knight’s F air is perfect for gimping other people’s recoveries. Link isn’t a bad character at all, I mean, he has great priority on his attacks and has great range but, his recovery really makes any improvements he got in this game useless. I haven’t tried Toon Link yet, and I’m turned off by his light weight; then again he has better recovery and I can still play keep away… I’ll give him a shot. Your Meta Knight is pretty good man.

Hmm, well, as far as toon link goes, his light weight’s never been a huge issue for me, lemme list all his pros over regular link…
- much faster
- much much much better recovery
- better air moves
- forward smash combos into both hits and KOs really well
- an actual good up smash
- projectile spams just as well if not better than older link thanks to stuff like the quick draw technique with the bow
- dair spikes people, guaranteed off a foot stool jump
- slower moving projectiles help with his pressure game
- Lighter Weight
- Slightly less range
So yeah, I’d definitely give him a shot over regular link and see if you like him or not.
