I think due to the fact that Deejay’s slide is safe, we develop the habit of sliding in too much. I myself tend to do that but overlook the fact that people can punish it. Jcool, I mentioned this in the discussion thread but I find too many people (myself included) tend to cross up in the corner too much which just puts you at a huge disadvantage…

I spoke to combofiend and he said it’s not the smartest thing to do… I’m going to stop doing cross ups in the corner.

hard to block.
most of the time its fake and i keep them in the corner.
actually crossups are not so great in the corner.

I’m disappointed that weaksauce never grew a brain during the set with you Jcool, he just tried to bullshit you with srk and jump or focus if he’s not srking. But I remember the tournie match from a while back that u were so disappointed after losing, and he didnt outplay you back then either, he just jumped and srked then too and it was over before you knew what was going on. It’s nice to watch the evolution in your game and see you adjust quicker and not lose to weak bullshit.

no no, not law at all. I’m not trying to promote what he said, but just thought it was a good suggestion since it could potentially put you at risk. I myself do it quite often and since deejay isn’t very strong in the corner, I have to start stopping myself.

its a good suggestion. it just depends on the situation and how its done. i crossup more often than not because people have a hard time blocking it in general.

Once it got closer to 1am, My execution and reflexes started to go down hill. So…don’t judge me Kappa lol. I looked at the video and saw a bunch of bad decisions and easy combo drops. I placed 4th out of 40+ though. That should have been my money
