happy to help. i think im wrong on the 300 stun on CH cr.hp. I think its 250. normally its 200, so 250 on counter hit sounds right.

also vs that safejump that guy has, you can try a backdash, but I’m pretty sure option select tastu catches it. it’s worth testing if he knows that though. focus backdash would nullify any OS there.

as for mk and hk sobats vs guy in neutral, it’s risky, but in a 2/3 i suppose it can be worth testing their knowledge of the punish once (early on in the match), since not many people know the deejay match very in depth. he didn’t punish you, so basically you could assume you can use that tool vs him as much as you want. similar with the reversals in that match. If they work, no need to change until the opponent does.

Fuck that was a slick round by Knut. Love the finish, and that whiff punish moments before. Not to mention that R1 comeback.

some matches from this weekends Tournament that I played

So @fischbs and me have spoke a lot about the Dudley match-up and how I never really get to play many great Dudley’s when I do play even though online is littered with shit ones. Well, here’s why I never get any good match experience. The match was pretty laggy and we kept dropping shit which was annoying me, had to stop trying the 1f.

pressing buttons after a blocked light sobat is a terrible habit that online teaches. you won’t get away with that offline. the dudley I play against punishes a large number of blocked light sobats with st.lp, st.hp. If he misses the punish and you press a button, you are getting counterhit.

also duck straight is punishable unless he spaces it super well. at the very least you can press a button after blocking one.

He let me get away with it a fair amount so I neve stopped, most I ate was a st.hp he never really capitalized on it for me to want to stop, and I was trying to punish his duck straights but it was laggy between us and it wasn’t working out lmao, was trying to just land a cr.lk Sobat

Was trying to qualify for B league last week and ended up going 2-2 beat a rose and a cody lost to a chun and my buddy’s hugo.

at the 1:05:22 mark is my match vs the chun. I also have a couple of warm-up rounds at the beginning. As always tips and advice are openly welcomed.
