Lol, none of those colors looked right.
Hey Noc, when will you have time to do those two combos? The guy who made them gave up trying to remake them on FBA, so I’m S.O.L. on that end, you’re my only hope.

I saw only a few color ideas I liked, most we’re garbage
Why would it be the proto and not set 1?
The prototype still has a lot of the old dev tools, some real bout 2 stuff, and the normal byte swapped palette storage.
Is there any reason to use Marco’s qcf kicks? They seem to do less damage and are more unsafe if blocked, than using the fireball. In most cases where you could use the kicks (at the end of a dp break juggle, to punish a whiffed move of the opponents) it would almost always be better to use a C fireball. I don’t think these moves are balanced and are the weakest part of Butt’s offense. They should honestly do more damage than a C fireball when used in his juggles, otherwise they have no practical use. If they weren’t so punishable on block, that might be something. The D version of the kicks is just a horribly thought out move. I really wish it was about as punishable on block as Grant’s QCF A, but maybe that is asking to much? If this facet of Marco’s moveset was tweaked in regards to risk vs rewards, he would be pretty much totally balanced.
Yeah, I agree, his C fireball is the only thing you should be using in BnB combos as it does the most damage. HOWEVER, if you use his top move after a break and if you time it right, you can get a super or another DP right after it (as long as he doesn’t finish the top move with the uppercut, it has to whiff). One other reason to use his qcf+B is for corner juggles, do the A break and then qcf+B, then a super right after it.
Outside of that, pretty much never use qcf+B or D unless you combo or GC into them. They’re both horribly unsafe; even if you were to hit a grounded opponent with the second hit of the qcf+D - it’s still not safe, much like Terry’s DP if it connects on standing opponent with the last hit as he’s coming down.
True I do use the B kicks for corner juggles, if I have the meter and of course the top attack if in top. I didn’t know you needed to whiff the last upppercut of the top to link the super!! I don’t understand why A fireball super has such lame start up. I think it should be the same start up as C’s.
How strict is the timing to connect a fireball after a standing jab with Butt? Is this one frame???
Looking at that throw chart, they need to move Kain’s damage down alil bit. Jenet’s air throw does great damage eh?
In order to combo into Marco’s fireball there are actually 2 ways of doing.
First method (works with both close stand :snka: and far stand :snka:) is:
first thing to note this method only works with :snka: version fireball. You pretty much just link the fireball after you do a close stand :snka: or far stand :snka:. Strange thing though is if stand :snka: is too far off it might not always combo. It has to be far stand :snka: from the closest range it’s animation starts up. The best way to always get it to combo no matter what is the next method.
Second method (requires timing, works with both close stand :snka: and far stand :snka:):
stand :snka:, :qcf: + :snka:/:snkc: kara stand :snka: - Think of this one as if you were are doing just stand :snka: into another stand :snka: but you have to input the fireball betweem both of those normals. Think roll cancels from CvS2. You pretty much have to double tap :snka: if you want a :snka: fireball. Easier doing it into the :snkc: fireball so can just piano the buttons on pad or stick or kb. It’s not really hard but might take a bit of practice for some.
Also about using his fireball after his break. Yes it does more damage than his :qcf: + :snkb:. Thing to note though is that the :qcf: + :snkb: knocks them into the corner farther compared to his fireball. So sometimes sacrificing the damage for the positioning might be good at times. Besides that use it mainly for corner combos like already mentioned.
Can anyone help me find two sprites? I need the K.O. sprite and the background flash for supers.
Just as a recap.
I have confirm 8 heads with the possibility of 3-5 more for EVO MOTW
Get Hype!

Little parody I made using sound Garou SFX and music.
Nice, they won’t drop out before tourney time, will they? This has happened plenty of times when we hold tourney’s.
Nah! The 8 are all hyped for this. Whether we get bodied or not. All of us love the game.
So who are the 8 players?
Thanks, I have to really practice this as I am not getting it yet. On a side note, I just did about 16 A button DP breaks in a row lol. I’ve been training on those alot as the button config has been really hard to get my fingers to react in those positions. C button is easy now. I think I am about trained up on this finally
I saw your old videos and notice you used to play with Butt back 5 years ago. What chars did you play with and why did you end up with Kain? Was anyone playing him serious when you were? Did someone else show you his power, before you took him as your own character? I just started to tinker with him in practice. He initially feels like he controls the pace of the match very well, which is a great thing.
Myself, Prinny, Game&Box, Orange, Vector, Macc, Felix, BloodFeastIslandMan (yes that is the name of champions lol)
There are the others which if they come into town they will be playing.
We would have more if it wasn’t for people moving away and joining the force or other such things.

I’ve been using Kain for a long time now. This was before he was even considered good. Kain was low tier at one point. I always liked charge characters in general. That is why I stuck with him mainly. I use just about everyone in the game now. I just do that to have more variety when playing in general, so it doesn’t get boring using Kain over and over. Marco has always been solid since the game came out. As far back as I could remember. His style of play hasn’t really change all that much over the years. Marco is a good all around character though. He has the tools to hang with the tops in the game.
I’m looking forward to playing everyone. I can show people thing as they are playing also. That way we can get better matches going. Hopefully everyone is practicing some before EVO comes around.
what time and what day is this happening at EVO? I’m new to the game, but wouldn’t mind getting some matches in and giving you all some easy wins.
Not if I give them all the free wins they can handle first! (I had the same questions, now that I know I’m going to go to evo for sure)
