So there is this new Garou combo vid, but it seems to include combos from the Prototype ver.-

Yea I’ve already seen that combovid. Most of that is possible it’s just all very situational for the most part. There wasn’t any signs of the prototype version from what I saw. A lot of program pad/macro usage though.

Hmm in that case, could you explain the combos at the following time-
0:30 Freeman hits B. Jenet with a Counter Hit Down+AB as the 3rd hit then cancels into his punch super and then connects all 3 hits of his QCB+P; I tried this in Training mode with Set 1; the recovery from the punch super prevents the first QCB+P from comboing. In fact if you counter hit with the punch super, you would only be able to combo one of the QCB+P move.
This combo is shown in full at 3:30-ish

1:05 Rock does a corner combo on B. Jenet, with the 3rd hit being a Counter Hit.

1:25 Butt does his St. HK on a Jumping B. Jenet, then hits her with his Charge C attack causing a Counter Hit on the 2nd hit

2:20 Is it really possible for Hotaru to reflect projectile supers? and if so can Break her QCB+K and still have the projectile reflected?

2:40 This Tizoc combo is possible I believe tho I couldn’t get the St. LK to OTG ?_?

2:45-ish Hokutomaru does a counter hit on Jenet on the 2nd hit.

3:15 Kevin juggling with 2 hits of his TOP; this is possible I believe but do you think you could elaborate on it more?

3:40 Rock does a Jumping HP on Jenet then hits her with a Down+AB as a Counter Hit. hE THEn proceeds to juggle Jenet with some attacks; are these juggles even possible? I know about Jenet’s bug but it isn’t that messy…

Take note that these combos are not performed in training mode since the timer is at infinite and you can see 2 life bars.

One thing I did learn from that vid is that Jae Hoon’s back dash kick can be feinted xD

Look at your list, and notice how often Jenet appears on it. She has the hit bug thing and it will result in counter if she’s in the air and tries the dive kick while getting hit.

Hotaru can reflect any projectile in the game. In some cases it will cancel out a projectile.

The Tizoc combo is possible, the timing/spacing has to be perfect.

Yea those are mainly Jenet bug combos. On Jenet the counter hit part itself can be done after 1-2 hits from a combo because of her hit bug. The freeman combo is really hard. You have to time it all perfect to connect the hits like that. I’ve been able to do it once. Tizoc can OTG from the P kick super but it has to be from a certain distance for it work. Yea Jae’s back, back + B is considered a normal hit so you can FC it. Doing Kevin’s TOP in a combo requires some timing. They have to be hit from a certain height for it to let you juggle that way. Again most of those are very situational and require strict timing for the most part.

Hands down the best 2-d fighter ever created.

It does work. Only works on Jenet. It has to be timed perfect. Jenet has to be at the right height for it to all connect like that.

I know i’m going to sound beyond mentally handicap but i never could find Garou on the xbl arcade list. It has been a while since i checked so i’ll look again and see if its there but i never could find it and i checked in damn near every category it would be in.(action, fighting, arcade, classic).

5- Jumping C–>Down+AB–>QCB+B then C–>QCFx2+P

Can’t pull that combo off with Gato to save my life. Any trick to it?

You have to do the C follow up to the qcb+B very low to the ground. There are some situations where the qcfx2+P will become a zero frame super, but it would be safer to get the combo down.

Interesting; any chance you could record a different combo ending in this manner? ^_^;

i do in block 4 times, but in hit only 3

It’s possible to do 5-6 on hit standing close but requires strict timing. The most I’ve done by hand was 4 but pretty hard. I would just stick with 3 and do 1/2 :d: + :snkc:'s instead. On block it’s a bit easier since it doesn’t push back as much like it does on hit.
