Good job, noc. I want to add that on when the other guy is knocked down, if the guy likes to tech roll forward a lot, laying the qcf+A works really well. Down C into low B vs Tizoc works too. Things that no one should ever do- air d+B/Dx4, you already covered this- and C into foward+C chain.

Humbag, didn’t you play Grant / Marco in those vids? IMO, those two characters are kind o f easy to learn, you don’t need much time in training at all. The only thing you need is experience. So try to play some more if you think you suck

Does anybody know if the Howard Arena tournaments are still being held? Those were always the best matches played of the game.
You sure your not talking about the DC/PS2 versions? The AES/MVS versions are exactly the same. The only difference is AES works only on neogeo while MVS is the arcade version.
They stopped hosting tournaments at the Alpha Station arcade since two other places hold the tournaments now. So it’s either TRF/GPS from now on it seems. Also not to mention that a lot of the Howard Arena players tend to go to one place or the other now.

In the vid above I’m guessing that the version is faulty because Rock is capable of feint cancelling his St.D, which I don’t find to be possible in the version I’m playing (rom emulated through MVS).
If you meant the 1:20 ish and on, that’s not his D, it’s his standing AB, or universal low evasion move. Think universal overhead from sf3 and that’s pretty much how the standing AB attacks are like in this game. Rock showing his front = AB, him showing his back = D. It’s been possible to “karacancel/emptycancel(canceling before hit frame comes out)” in all versions. Standing AB into qcb or 360 are pretty popular tactics with rock. I really saw nothing different from the neogeo version in that video. I’m pretty confident that pretty much everything there in that video can be done in neogeo. Excellent frickin showcase of Rock btw. That dude was flawless in his execution.
