I don’t know where the money went but I know where it didn’t go, the QA process. Both HDR, 3sOE, and any kind of Capcom shovelware games (collections, anniversary, remake, etc, etc) lacks any kind of in-depth QA process.** I suspect it’s cheaper to release a game and then patch the glitches that users find instead of spending tons of internal man hour to get everything right**.

Had they contacted a couple dedicated 3s players it wouldn’t take long for them to find things that seem wonky

They had HIGA, KOKUJIN AND BOSS there. Why they didn’t use them for anything more than the tournament is beyond me. I really hope “lack of budget” has nothing to do with that decision either.

Dedicated 3s player might be able to pinpoint wonky stuff from the arcade version but most of the glitches being reported are issues with the new stuff they added. There’s no way they are going to be able to find out that the matchmaking sucks, characters can disappear, palettes can get screwed, spectator mode can glitch the game, 1billion disconnect %, etc, etc.

That is true. A good point, also. I just hope Ponder was clever enough to choose royalties over a set price up front per game.

Once the ping shows up both players should be seeing the same thing.

Also, I played against afrocole in ranked, dude knocked me down in the corner, did an aegis, then start T-bagging before I woke up. My dumb ass was like, “I can parry this shit” and then he was all, “parry this overhead”. And then he won.

I hate the color system. It’s random. Yellows will always turn into reds but play pretty fine in lobbies. Get reds that play like yellows and yellows that play like oranges or reds. Just need ping numbers.

Each time i go to a lobby supposedly yellow or green, 80% of the time, guys are all orange/red to me, and other 20%, after one match (even watching), all became orange/red.

is 3soe slower than the normal 3s/ggpo? i hadnt played it in over a year, but when ever i played SF4, 3s seemed so much faster and SF4 seemed slower. but with 3soe it just seems slower. SF4 doesnt seem slow anymore after playing 3soe and 3soe doesnt seem as fast after playing SF4

i typed this while playing 3soe, so sorry if it doesnt make sense lol

From a speed POV (< means slower) : arcade < 3soe < emulator (ggpo pc, etc) < other console ports

And yes, SF4 is hella slow.
