Technically anything you can think of (including EX moves) from the Alpha games, to the old Marvel and vs. games pretty much stems from Darkstalkers. Advance guarding, ex moves…even basic shit like super moves and chain combos (and the raging demon command) all started from 1993’s Darkstalkers. You should pretty much thank Darkstalkers for most of the stuff in Capcom’s fighters.
I’m a big fan of different types of contemporary/smooth and I really liked how the jazzy theme fit with the being under a subway station. Very reminiscent of the acid jazz stuff my dad and I used to listen to back then. I don’t want to be reminded of Megaman instead. LOL.
It’s passable as a song on its own and technically we still haven’t heard the 2nd or 3rd possible mix for the song but I don’t expect to like it ton more. I’d rather listen to Dudley’s or Akuma’s any day unless I’m playing EWJ or MM with the remixed Jazzy NJC in the back ground.
