Hell no. that weapon is just a crutch for noobs. Bad players get a lot better using it and good players dont = crutch.
But on a different note, I cant wait to go online and kick some ass. If the beta was a indication there will be a lot of asswhoopin.

oh cool. i had unlocked all the weapons available in the beta so i was wondering what the level 100 would do (since epic was pretty nice to have all those huge multi-exp gaining events for the past year)
Yea i would never have had that achievement without the events. The game is just to damn bad to play for to long lol. Thank god the beta was near perfect.
And btw Veteran Gear unlocks ALL golden weapons. (lancer, hammerburst, sawed-off, gnasher, retro)

Did you play the beta or were you high? Gnasher is MUCH better then sawed off which is why no one used it and won’t in the final version if EPIC doesn’t lessen the reload time.
I honestly can’t see shorter reload time on sawed off being a good idea considering what the weapon is capable of but we’ve already traveled down this road before.
The 1 shot capacity really limits how crazy it can be and that’s a good thing but the load time is so long that no one who cares about winning will use it over gnasher consistently. In the beta everyone used it day1 than you never saw it again except for noobs who suck with it and people like me who just had a lot of fun with it even if it’s kinda lowtier.

Did i play the beta? Yes. About 50% of my deaths were because of that thing (and before you say Im bad at the game I had a 3.0+k/d and a 11.0W/L).The thing was it was hard to see whether someone was holding a sawed off or a gnasher. Or they were camping around a corner with it. , And I agree the gnasher is much better which was exactly my point. The sawed off is for bad players while the good players use the gnasher.
those up close saw’d off/gnasher battles are the shyt though!
Sawed off shotgun is only low tier IF YOU MISS. I prefer the Gnasher because I want to be able to have more shots instead of a near instant kill in my pocket. If I notice someone is coming at me down the hallway with the Gnasher I’ll probably play a little tango with him. I’m not for doing a dance against someone with a sawed off especially if the know how to be patient with it.
The only problem I had with the Sawed off was the radius of the shot, how you could hit people to the left/right of you. Tone that down and the gun i fine. It should be a easy 1 hit kill up close otherwise whats the point. The gnasher is still the surperior weapon even if they don’t touch the SO before release.
Yea you get to control both squads this time. The first chapter has segments where you follow Marcus and Dom’s team then switch to Cole and Baird’s team.
