So what is the real deal with this tournament?
Will there be more than a handful of people showing up?
I mean I dontā mind making the drive out there at all, I hear its only about 90 minutes, but at the same time I dontā want this ending up being a round robin between the 5 CT people coming in the same car and 2 other NJ locals. Iām hoping the headcounts will at least be decent.
By the way Tony B is coming so the 5 on 5 is on. I want to request to play first thoughā¦so I can run through your whole team myself. I need the practice more than anyone anyway.
Also any idea why the tournies are starting so late? I just saw that they wonāt be starting until 6pm? I know that Bacardi has to work Sunday morning so we might have to take off around 11-12.
Does the arcade REALLY close at midnight no matter what? what happens if something runs late?
Are the 6 tvs there are standard (i.e. lag-free tube TVs, NOT LCDs)?
Also I can easily bring PS2s and my DC to this if there is demand for it, and also as many copies of CvS2/Anniversary collection as you need.

Weāll probably run it earlier, itās just that at earlier tournaments many people coming were getting out of work so I decided to hold it later. I think everyone coming to this will be there rather earlier it seems.
The head counts will be ādecentā, but like I already told you, our tournaments are small so donāt be expecting much. The scene here in NJ is non existant, so take that how you will.
Also, itās NOT AN ARCADE, itās a dinky little console cafe, ask the CT heads about it, theyāll tell you. The TVās are are all regular lag free sets, and the place closes pretty damn late, our tournaments last time ran till 10 but we stayed for casuals until 1 to 2 am, the owner is realllllllly cool like that.
Just come to have fun and bust heads man, thatās why I throw these things.
And Iāll see about the PS2 / DC in the morning, Iāll be there around noon to get an understanding if weāll be in need of more.
For the 5on5, cvs2 this time, 3s next time?
We can stay past midnight if needed most of the time. It isnāt an arcade.
The 5on5 will be after the big 3, as will be any other tournaments.
There are at least 5 NJ people who are comming(sigley, chibi, fatastico, cyborg, myself), although not all of us play everything.
We just need one ps2, we have 5 between me, chibi, and there. We have at least 2 copies of each game so we have that covered.
TVs are tubetacular.
There are usually 8-12 people for each game.
It starts at 5-5:30, the 6:00 is for people who called and are stuck in traffic or something. I will hold a place until 6, but after that you are valid to get losses. You can come earlier if you want.

anyone have a copy of cvs2 for dc? if so bring it i would like to request to play the 5on5 on the dc version so i can use my stick instead of someone elses. we have converters so you can use your ps2 sticks on the 3s.
