Anyone know where to find complete frame data and a matchup chart? I know howard arena used to have it but that site seems to be gone.

I don’t know if this is 100% accurate and I’ll cross reference it with the mook tomorrow, if no one else can confirm that it is.

I think that I am going to spend some time updated the Wiki, with Combo’s and stats from this thread next week.

Played a few matches with Omerta and i realised that i don`t really know anything about Kain.

Which pages have info on using B. Jenet? I’ve skimmed through pgs. 20 - 30 and 60 - 70 to no avail. I’ve also checked out the MOTW section in the SRK wiki, again nothing except her basic command list.

I’m interested in how she’s generally played (her basic gameplan), key mixups, and bread and butter combos. (I read through the engine basics on the wiki but trying to decipher how to play a character through just watching match vids. is a challenge.)

Edit: And if not Jenet then maybe general Terry strats/pressure strings is fine as I know a whopping four basic combos with him while I know nothing of Jenet.

Whoa… I came up against a pretty unstoppable Kevin last night and need some big help. He only lost three matches all night (won over fifty against 4 different people)… My Jae had no chance against him… my Rock barely got me a few round wins… Dong just got destroyed, and My scrubby rushdown Butt “might” have a chance, but I need to practice much, much more with him.

I recorded a few matches and will put them up later on today for you to look at. Hopefully someone has gone up against a Kevin player like this.

I like to see other kevins. :o

Five of us got together last night for four hours of none stop Garou. we had two neo’s and one ps2 going. It was actually the fist time that I have played on the Ps2 and other than the music and sound I have no complaints.

Vid’s are going to be up for a few days… I forgot all my editing software is on my other laptop, that is being held captive at the Geek Squad. :arazz:

I know that if I spend time working on my JD to GC I’ll do much better. I’m a pro at JD, but I need to start buffering before the JD, so I can land GC consistently. I think my Rock is capable of beating him with some practice… it’s the first time I’ve had to go up against a top notch super aggressive, meter building, combo whore Kevin… just need more practice…

What were this Kevin’s strats ? Practicing your guard cancel in order to perform it at the right moment (ie if you can jd jump A, A, qcf kick and do the guard cancel on the qcf kick) can be a good mental pressure.
Then counter attacking depends on you character… With Rock, don’t attempt much more than a 2-3 hits combo. Avoid blatant jump ins, build your pow meter and hit confirm down B Spow B, or easy and safe stuff like that. You can try to mind game him too with his kara AB (his AB doesn’t leave the ground so you can cancel it in any special move/super you like. Plus you get some range).

Random conner whoring… he later told me he’s working on a combo that does 95% actual game play damage. :woot:

I play a jabbing, poking, defensive Rock… nothing to fancy combo wise, like you said I tend to use the 2-3 hit combo’s and try to avoid the jump in, which greatly reduces Rock’s larger combo’s. Rising tackle, c.C and Raging storm are my main anti-airs… :snka::snkb: and :d::snka::snkb: I’m using less and less, because I’m not connecting with them, he pokes me out of them or we trade hits.

I’ll be putting a ton of time on my JD to GC tomorrow and less on the Jae combo’s I was working on last week. (DigitalGypsy’s main sparing partner uses Jae).

We are going to try to get together again this week for some games and I’ll record them as well and put the, up for everyone to critique.

Her juggling seems fine to me. I coulda sworn it was only tizoc?
