I probably should get the thing translated but then again most of the frame data stuff has already been posted by Toodles and the Howard Arena players.
There is more important stuff in that book beside that. But you have it so that makes you very lucky sir. Good Luck and happy hunting.
Then the data for jumping is wrong. Start any emulator with frame-by-frame like Kawaks. Load Garou, and start a two player match with Tizoc against anybody else. Wait until the match starts, leave the characters in neutral. Pause the game, hold Up for both characters, and advance frame-by-frame. The other character will leave the ground one frame before Tizoc does.
It wouldn’t be quite as funny if you didn’t use the exact same words. Now, 5 ANIMATION frames, sure, I could see that, but what the hell use is it if you dont know when the animation frames change?
I appreciate each and every piece of support that this game gets. Any information from the mook is VERY wanted. For example, I didnt see any problems with the rest of the post, and the information on throw ranges is VERY nice to have. For that, I thank you. I want solid information about this game easily available for anyone who might ever play it, and I’ve done more than my share to try and make that happen. What needs to be made clear is that I value facts over feelings by far. This isn’t blind mice ranting to remain ignorant; this is Garou lovers who are trying to keep you and everyone else away from misinformation.
Man up, nancy. This isn’t the way to act when you get called on posting misinformation. Instead, say “Let me double check the mook, brb”, find out where you made the mistake, test it out, and either say “Nah, the data is right. Here’s what the mook says, and here’s how I tested it out.” or “Crap, you’re right, I mistranslated/mook is wrong. Thanks!”
Jump Visual “human” recognition and CPU Jump recognition are to different things. If it was like that then you would never be able to scape throws by jumping.
Looks like you know more than me. Don’t let me get in your way. Peace.
Once again looking for rock info…
Feint combo’s with rock?
Things to know:
-Best air to air: jump :snkb:
Has great range, comes out pretty quick and beats a lot of other air to airs.
-Anti Air’s: :d: + :snkc: has good coverage above Rock and beats out certain jumps in. You can also feint cancel out of it to help cancel out the recovery time. His :d: + :snka:+:snkb: is decent but not nearly as good as it should be, it tends to trade hits usually or get beat out. His far standing :snkd: can be used as an anti jump out from opponents trying to jump away in the corner. His rising tackle (charge :d:, :u: + :snka:/:snkc:) is his best AA but it requires a charge so it can be risky to use if the opponent expects it also.
-His jumping :snkd: can cross-up pretty much the whole cast. His jumping :snka: and jumping :snkb: can also cross-up certain characters at certain angles.
-Use his stand :snka:+:snkb: to kara into any of his specials and supers. Good for mixups on wake up.
-Here are some combos you can try out that work on just about everyone:
-(Anywhere) :d: + :snkb:X2, :qcf:X2 + :snkb:/:snkd:.
-(Anywhere) Jump in :snkc:, :snkb:, land, stand :snka:/stand :snkc:/:d: + :snkb:/:d: + :snkc:/:d: + :snka:+:snkb:, :qcf:X2 + :snkb:/:snkd: or :hcb:, :r: + :snka:, :snka:X2, :snkb:X2, :snkc:X2, :snkd:X2, :qcb: + :snkc:.
-(Mid Screen) Cross-up with :snkd:, land, stand :snka:, stand :snkc:/:d: + :snkc:, :qcf: + :snka: or :qcf:X2 + :snkb:/:snkd: or :hcb:, :r: + :snka:, :snka:X2, :snkb:X2, :snkc:X2, :snkd:X2, :qcb: + :snkc:.
-(Corner) Jump in :snkc:, :snkb:, land, :d: + :snka:+:snkb:, feint cancel with :r: + :snka:+:snkc:/:d: + :snka:+:snkc: into stand :snkc:, :qcf:X2 + :snkb:/:snkd: or :hcb:, :r: + :snka:, :snka:X2, :snkb:X2, :snkc:X2, :snkd:X2, :qcb: + :snkc:.
-Most of Rocks feint combos are mostly corner only and usually require the :d: + :snka:+:snkb: to combo into other normals. You can do close stand :snkc:, feint cancel into stand :snka:/:d: + :snkb:, :qcf:X2 + :snkb:/:snkd: or :hcb:, :r: + :snka:, :snka:X2, :snkb:X2, :snkc:X2, :snkd:X2, :qcb: + :snkc:.
-You can also do close stand :snkd:, feint cancel into stand :snkc:/:d: + :snkc:, :qcf: +:snka: or :qcb: + :snka: or :qcf:X2 + :snkb:/:snkd: or :hcb:, :r: + :snka:, :snka:X2, :snkb:X2, :snkc:X2, :snkd:X2, :qcb: + :snkc:.
There is more I can go into about his command grab combos and what not but most of that has already been metioned before. If there is anything anyone else wants to add please do. Hope this helps you out.
ok Im really into this game which character(s) are basically rushdown? right now Im just using Freeman
Much thanks, I’ll be working on this.
Everyone can pretty much rush even Tizoc to some extent. Usually characters that can dash have better rushdown options.
To help those that dont know these characters can dash only: Grant, Kain, Jae, Freeman, Kevin, Jenet, Marco/Butt and Tizoc/The Griffon.
and these characters can only run: Rock, Hoku, Dong, Terry, Gato and Hotaru.
If I had to go by best rush down characters, would probably be: Jenet, Freeman and Jae. They have the best options with feint cancels to keep most characters locked down in the corner especially.
ok thanks.
Doesn’t Jae have a corner cuard crush string?
If you’re a robot, yes. It’s Close D (one hit) -> down A+C feint -> dash-in
Now, do that over and over again until their guard breaks. It’s not as easy as it sounds…believe me. Also, if you screw up by even a couple frames, you eat a free Cr. AB into whatever the fuck they want.
Gonna HAVE to master it now.
Its a lot easier to do it while they’re guarding. Once you break the guard and try to combo the sD, feint, sD…you need to feint faster. But don’t do it if you’re not able to pull it off consistently, you’ll eat shit if you do.
Delicious:rofl:
Gato can’t do that right?
is there Garou matchmaking irc? cause I want to get some games in online.
