Garfield Minus Garfield

This cracked me up - it’s so dark it’s hilarious. Sad and hilarious.

These are alright, pretty good too, even!

But let that site try to pull THIS out their ass!

Jon’s “It’s GO time, pal!” is just epic!

This is a great site. I don’t think the actual Garfield comic strip is good at all. I haven’t laughed out loud (or even cracked a smile) because of a Garfield strip since I was probably seven years old.

But damn if this isn’t the funniest thing I’ve seen all month.

Personally, the one where Jon got mauled horribly was funnier with Garfield in it. Just as is, it doesn’t tell you how he got mauled, and I like having that mystery solved.

Edit: Oh holy mother of the universe! I think Jon Arbuckle has a healing factor! Because have you ever noticed whenever it’s consecutive comics that aren’t in the weekly arc, when in one strip Jon gets scraped/mauled horribly, and in the next comic, he looks like $200! (He’s not that fancy.)

Jon Arbuckle, possibly the dreariest, n00bish mutant around.

WTF

pedobear/crossdressing Jon?

Yeah right! Even a loli wouldn’t give Jon the fucking time of day!

So depressing… yet, so fucking hilarious!

Wow. This is God like. I never thought I’d say that about anything.

The only time Garfield has been funny is when he was on Garfield and Friends.

Deja Vu: the sensation you are doing you have done before. (repeated five times over)

One of my favorite skits from that show was the one that had Orson and Wade, opening their own diner, and Roy, being the ass he was, kept coming up with over-exaggerated dishes (Moose stew with chocolate sauce ^_^) And the best order was this:

-An alligator cheese sandwich, with cheese from an alligator named Sydney.
-With lettuce picked fresh from the Bolivian harvesting period.
-On rye bread with exactly 71 carroway seeds per slice.
-And a pickle on top, in the shape of Muntze, Indiana!

“Alright… One #8.” “ONE #8!!” :lol::lol:

hahaha, awesome

Does anyone know where to find those photoshopped family circuses? (Like billy threatening to cut people)

Oh that ep was great! I need to get the DVD sets to Garfield and Friends.

Kudos for finding that site!

Site?

Son, I remembered that from memory! (the majority of it) And it’s been HOW long since I last saw a Garfield & Friends cartoon?

Or did you mean the Garfield minus Garfield site? That, I won’t take credit for, as I did not find it.

I actually hated Orson and his crew. It felt like I was just getting half the Garfield cartoon taken away from me each week.

Hence why they called it Garfield & Friends. Even Garfield broke the fourth wall a lot, saying that his show could always be better without all the ‘friends’ lol

But I bet you’d like to see Orson’s Farm as the next ingredients for Iron Chef!

The farm animals are from another Jim Davis comic called U.S. Acres. Believe it or not, it was just as unfunny during its short lifespan as Garfield is today.

Yes, I know. Except, unlike Garfield, U.S. Acres was never widely known. I certainly knew nothing about it (other than that it sucked) as a child.

I hated that rooster in it, god he was a jerk

I think the reason why the Garfield & Friends cartoon was entertaining was because Mark Evanier (the Kirby disciple) was involved with the writing of it.
