Gamingnow.net - Closeout Clearance!

Nareg, just letting you know that my order (#136) arrived in less than a week since the shipping confirmation (past Saturday). That is the fastest international shipping I’ve ever received! Thanks a lot, the packaging was great and everything was in order.

I have one suggestion. Would you consider selling the zip-ties that people use to fix the cthulhu board in place with your zip-tie anchors? I bought the anchors from you but I haven’t been able to get zip-ties slim enough to fit in the holes that the Cthulhu has. Radioshack here is Peru is really lacking in product selection and my local hardware stores have zip ties that are way too big.

Cool that you added the acrylic dustwashers, neutrik adapters and other cool items to the DIY section; it really makes it more appealing to get everything from one store, specially for foreign gamers like me. I’ll definitely go with you again when I build another stick.

Are you going to sell Black Seimitsu PS-14-DN’s?

Ordered mine last week, took three days to get the 14-kn clears, I love the shipping. One of the buttons has a good size scratch on it, it may have been dropped, idk, I might have something that can fill it though.
Just saw you have the Madcatz 360 pads in, I haven’t been able to find the right ones locally somehow, I see another order in my future.

been out of the arcade stick modding for a while but had to come out of retirement since i’m getting another case… visited gamingnow.net yesterday to place an order and was blown away with how great the updated site looks… also love the ‘2-day shipping’ guarantee… shipping from him was already fast from my past experiences… looks like i may get my stuff even FASTER…

good job and congrats on the success nareg :woot:

Hey there Nareg, ordered some 5x Sanwa Dark Hai OSBF-30 buttons + 1x Sanwa Black Meshball. I am wondering how long it takes for you to process the orders, my order is still on “Pending” ordered yesterday afternoon. Would like to know if there are any problems with the order.

Order number: 249

Thanks for any help.

Ordered mine late Thursday night and it came Monday morning, simply amazing. Thanks a lot

Orders up to 3:00pm today shipped.

Nareg,

How much would you charge for the dual mod service alone if I provided the cthulu and IMP? Would you need it pre assembled?

Thanks.

Thanks for the kind words. Yes I will stock those zip-ties for you guys :china:.

I can’t remember if they make those, if they do, I will definitely pick them up.

I will add a ps-14-KN with that controller you were planning on picking up, just order the button with it and I’ll refund you for it (if you check out with paypal.)

Thank you, nice to see you in the thread again.

Shipped today and status also updated today.

Hey, I apologize- I didn’t get to accommodate this change before the order went out. If you’re still looking to buy a Meshball I can try to get one out to you under a cheaper shipping method than priority mail to save some money.

Hi! Sorry for not answering until now, I was waiting on a shipping confirmation from the fabricating company. They will go up on the site this week. They were late by about 5 days on their production deadline.

My rates probably aren’t competitive on that, I’m always happy to respond to requests, but this isn’t an area that I proactively offer my services in anymore. The mod takes 5 hours and I charge fifteen dollars per hour. :china:

I’ll send you a PM in regards to this.

Well they have them at LL, both snap-ins and screw-ins. It’d be pretty weird that Black is the only one that’s been discontinued. I could get it from LL but I don’t want to order from a site looking only to buy one thing. Especially when almost everything I need can be bought through you.

PS. I’m planning to mod my SE with a Sanwa JLF. Do I still need to rotate the PCB to match the stock joystick or is it already done for me? It’s okay if it’s not, I can do it myself xD

PS. Speaking of JLF, I noticed that it comes with a Black Shaft Cover. Will you guys be selling these individually? (I’m planning to buy a TE, I don’t think the JLF for those comes with a shaft cover)

Thanks!

fyi my te came w/ shaft cover.

Any Sanwa JLF that has a Letter Y after the Number 8 (8Y, 8YT), has the PCB rotated.
But it is super easy to do, so it’s nothing.

Remove Restrictor Gate.
Lift PCB, turn.
Replace Restrictor Gate.

All the Sanwa JLF in Tournament Edition come with JLF-CD (Shaft Cover).
It is only the non-Tournament Edition that does not.
(Shaft Cover inclusion on JLF denoted by [SK].)

Some news:
Were moving the site to a different server, might be down for about a day.
More info in the blog on our homepage.

Also,
Our merchant account risk department contacted me this morning and requested that I remove the “2 business day shipping guarantee” banner from our website header. I will remove it some time this week, but the policy will remain in effect.
(The merchant account is our intermediary between Visa and Mastercard, so we need them to accept your non-paypal payments.)

That explains why I’m only seeing a blank page at the moment

Also got your PM. Thanks very much! And my order was shipped in hours, that’s amazing.

No problem. By the way, some people should be able to see the site back up right now. It really depends on your internet service provider, but basically consider us back up online already. Nowww I need to sleep since that was an all night job.

All is good :china:

Incredible fast service as always Nareg. Is the freeship $100 no longer in effect?

Thanks

The short answer is no for now.
The reason being is simple. In the past the policy charged $10 S/H for orders under 100 and free for over 100. The point of the policy was that back up to April I would pack all of the orders personally. We would get way too many orders for one person to pack alone, and this shipping and handling policy kept small orders (which are time-consuming to pack for very little reward) away.

Now we have staff for packing, and it’s not necessary to discourage small orders like before, so the policy was changed.

Now I said that the short answer was no, I say that because despite the fact that small orders no longer need to be discouraged,* I would still like to encourage large ones. *We might reinstate a free shipping policy like before, without the flat rate shipping under the cutoff… I might even have some sort of policy which allows % discounts for orders totaling above some cutoff. (IE: 10% off orders over 100)

The reason why I haven’t settled on a policy like that last one yet is because there are a couple products on the site which would hit or surpass our explicit costs at a 10% discount. (Cthulhu stuff and Meshballs.)

Thinking about it for now, :xeye:.

Thanks,
-Nareg

Where in Ventura County are you located? I live in Oxnard and it would be nice to pick up parts when I need them in person and not over the mail.

Oh seriously? Haha well then, I have been misinformed xD. That makes it even better!
