Am I able to buy the adapter alone? I bought a bat top from LL’s long time ago, but forgot to add in the adapter. I’m going to buy other things from you of course just to make the shipping cost seem fair to me.
Yes this is a misconception about USPS tracking that has been causing me a lot of trouble lately with *plenty *of e-mails.
USPS tracking sucks, it goes from “electronically notified” to “delivered” with often times no updates in between. USPS only updates the tracking when they aren’t busy or when they feel like it, the postage centers aren’t required to scan the packages and update status at each checkpoint I suppose.
Anyway, usually this is the process behind my shipping:
I print 50-100 labels every 3 days or so for the orders in the last few days;
I spend that day/night packing the boxes each with one of those labels on them, then the next day the postman either comes by to pick up all of the boxes or I take them to the post office myself. Sometimes later that night they will get scanned and the tracking will be updated (this is 40 hours after you get the e-mail about shipment,) other times it can go for a few days without any updates and all of a sudden it says “Delivered” and the package is in front of your door.
Why don’t you use UPS? Their tracking system is way better and they offer free insurance for products up to 100 dollars. They also stop by your house everyday.
For vwdriver, the USPS system does suck. I got an email that the post office was notified for a shipment also. I got the email on the 24th and I still haven’t received my product. Eight days already.
Extremely frustrating.
USPS will do pickups as well. And UPS is more expensive, especially for small packages.

New shipping and handling policy:
Orders under 100 dollars will have a flat 10 dollar charge for shipping and handling.
Orders over 100 dollars will have free shipping and no handling charges.

usps tracking is horrible, but for small shipping their prices are the best.
ups and fedex tracking is awesome, but you really only get a good deal if you ship 6 lbs or more and then it’s cheaper then usps.

Definitely, depending on how smooth my current order goes, I’ll probably order everything from him when I finally decide to take a jab at making my own custom stick.

i second that. i have had terrible experiences with usps, including them saying they delivered an item which i never received. when i called and inquired they just said “says that your item was delivered at bla bla address”. thanks, i couldnt read that on the tracking page. still never received it.
and i will pay a little extra for the reliability and confidence of knowing that i will actually get my order.
