There’s a difference between trying to battle through lettice in a salad and adding a fresh flavour and crisp texture to your burger, same with other vegetables.
Vegetables go on the side, on on the burger (or my sandwhich, for that matter). Theres nothing as unappealing as biting into a big piece of lettuce when I just want to get to the flavor of the sandwich!
As for what to drink, Iced Tea, handles down… though sometimes you just need a soda to go with it.
Strawberry banana milkshake goes well with a burger. That used to be my staple at Prince’s Hamburgers which was supremely delicious pre-2007 then suddenly they decided to downgrade the meat.
Okay to be clear, since the origin of this thread was about a gaming developer we call a milkshake. Do you milkshake as in dairy or do you mean you like your burger with Zoe Quinn?
U ever had a lager float? or fresh made root beer? Im so about rb floats its unreal. They make hemp ice cream, icream made from curdled cannabis seeds. Lost Coast had a brewery 15 minutes from my house, U advise u find urself one like it.
For me nothing is as unappealing as biting into a soggy ass tomato on my burger.
On the flip side, my chef buddy made me a burger before and he had these really good pickles and LAWD it converted me. High quality pickles on a burger does wonders.
Haven’t had either. It’s been a long time since I been to Coney Island but I remember they have some amazing floats. It would be the best place for me to find these kind of floats.
As someone who loves milkshakes, and also loves burgers, both of them together is absolutely maddening to think about.
Thick, creamy, frozen chocolate or vanilla(or strawberry or whatever the fuck) with a juicey meaty burger with sauces and vegetables and cheese and whatever, those two tastes and experiences don’t vibe well in my opinion.
I like milkshakes and burgers, but not doing them together.
Like, if I get a sandwich, I’ll eat the burger first and then drink the milkshake. Preferably doing both in the comforts of my own home.
It’s like having dessert immediately after dinner, in drink form to quench your thirst. They fit together, because soft drinks are bland and don’t add anything to the meal, well post-burger eating.
The only fast food that ever makes me run for the toilet is KFC, but that’s only if I eat a butt-ton of chicken skin. Deep fried heavily breaded stuff in general doesn’t sit well with me in high quantities.
