You could always cancel your current order and get a Hori stick that’s just as good (or better) and still get it before SFIV’s release, instead of waiting ??? amount of time. Just a thought.
Did you not read any of the begining of the TE sticky? And why do you think Horis are better than the TE?

I have the SE preordered in-store for the 11th. I’m going to pick it up at 10 am sharp. I’m jealous of all of you who are getting it early. I wish I could have that nice HRAP but I don’t have an extra $50 for it. Maybe down the line I’ll buy some Sanwa parts and throw them in (hopefully with an octagonal restrictor plate too).
The shipping date sounds about right, though. If it ships today it will probably arrive at your house, say, Monday or Tuesday.
I don’t think he meant that hori buttons are better than arcade-quality parts. I think the point was “It’s a quality product with a great stick for $20 less, and if you really hate Hori buttons you can spend that $20 on six of whatever arcade-quality buttons you want”
Oh my bad. That’s what I meant but I didn’t see the TE in the thread title.
Buttons weren’t the issue, he is saying the Hori unit as a whole is better than the TE, I’m wondering why. Also he seems to be ignorant of the details of the TE stick so why would he be commenting on it?
Got my fight pad last night when I got home from work. I can finnaly play something!! sc4 and sthd. Pretty solid so far. No more random jumping in soul calibur!! I just need to get used to the 6 button layout. Its very light and has a switch on the back for Right stick D-pad and left stick.
I’m sure they are just as good, I just had some issues with MadCats controllers in the past, so that makes me a little bias towards the sticks. I would have ordered one if I had to import a Hori stick, but that’s not the case.
I just got my tournament stick like half an hour ago, and I live in Toronto.
My amazon TE stick order still has a shipping date of Feb 25th. W T F…

Sure. I just took 2 pictures because someone on gamefaqs.com asked me if I could post 1 or 2 so nevermind the ID tag paper, I use the same ID for almost all the forums and I didn’t think I would need to take screenshots with SRK’s website on them, anyway here are 2 pics.
The stick is beautiful, it feels right, it maneuvers right, it’s smooth and best of all it’s heavy. When they said it feels just like when you’re sitting and playing at the Arcades, well they absolutely right. I had my doubts when I first pre-ordered it but now that I’m holding it in my hands and played it, definitely worth every penny.
Hoping to get it today or tomorrow, will definitely leave impressions.

The TE is only if someone canceled their preorder so I can buy it, which has the same chance of winning the lotto.
