Vagrant Story. No one I know ever even heard of it, let alone actually have played it. And it’s like, my favorite game ever.
I’m upset that I ever had to utter those words again, definitely.
WRONG! [/Lex Luthor]
raises hand
I have. I was kind of hoping that Ashley would be playable in the new PSP version of FFTactics since VS is in the world of Ivalice. Sydney, and to a lesser extent Guildenstern are very fascinating bosses. Not the usual vanilla god complex type shit. I’ve never been a fan of dungeon crawlers but that game broke the mold. I’m still waiting for a sequel to that.
vagrant story got hyped pretty big when it came out…i thought alot ppl knew about it.
I think Vagrant story was also one of the few games to get a perfect score from famitsu or something. It seemed pretty cool when I played the opening of it. I picked the game up used from eb like last year for $5 though. Might play through it someday.
When VS came out was like in every magazine and everyone and their mom were talkn bout it… my brother got it, played it a bit then just left it there to die, i didnt even play 5 min of it heh… the one Game I loved and everyone was like “nigga wtf u like that shyt??!” was Azure Dream, Sega DC version just for graphics and xtras heh :wgrin:
Meh…just another boring Final Fight clone. Batman Returns was MUCH better.
I still dunno how the main character (Ren?) could own ANYONE with a broken sword.
Genesis version of Pirates is far, FAR better.
Grandia II for dreamcast/ps2 none of my friends know about this , despite being kind of old.
Dual Blades
I hear that’s the best one of the Grandia series.
I’m going to play it eventually.
^^Fans are split between the first and the second one. At the least, it has really solid voice tracks and pretty damn cool main hero. Dreamcast version is less glitchy and has more visual details, btw. Personally I pick the third one over those two though.
Really? I got when it when it first came out too, back when I used to live in Connecticut, guess everyone I used to know back then were just too into dat Madden and (and later on)GTA3 and Halo to really pay attention. Either way, I hope they make a sequel, though if Matsuno is not involved, I guess it’d be better for them to just leave it alone. Oh, and I’m not surprised people HERE know it, but people I know in RL, they have no clue. At all.
The only person in real life that I knew had heard of Vagrant Story complained that the game was shit because the romance was non-existent.
…what the fuck.
Gangway Monsters.
I don’t know a single soul that even saw this game on a shelf.
I finished Vagrant Story twice over.
The last bosses weapon is too good.
Has anyone here played the arcade game called “Savage Quest”?
It’s an arcade game where your main character is a T-Rex, and you’re killing and eating dinosaurs back in dinosaur times.
I hear it’s very rare, and I wish I played it.
Picture
Also, I’m willing to bet money that no one here has played this:
My friend collects random games, and he has it.
It’s a legit copy.
General Chaos for the Genesis. Only one other friend of mine has heard of it. It’s probably the greatest 16-bit game ever made.
I’m sure many people have played Earthbound Zero, though not the legit US release that they didn’t feel like shipping off.
I loved this game so fuckin much. I would kill for a update/sequel.
-Panzer Bandit (PSX) a rip-off of Guardian Heroes with some MegaMan flavor. It wasn’t particularly great, and it only came out in Japan. It should be downloadable now through the PS3 sony store.
