Did anyone else dial into like eight different BBSes every day so they could play the shit out of those limited-playtime games like Lemonade and Legend of the Red Dragon… yeah I got nothing.
I actually took the time to upgrade all my weapons to level 4, because they had some cool info on them every time you went up a level. I can’t remember how many times I actually played through the first level to get there.
I found the butcher knife to be particularly amusing, for some reason.
Yeah, the Kunio Technos games were all pretty entertaining in some way or another. The 2 on 2 NES fighting one was pretty badass. The dodgeball one was amazing. xd
Alien Storm, haha, I remember that. Pretty good Genesis game.
Sailor Moon: Another Story ~ I played it cuz I love SM. It was pretty fucking awful though. The characters didn’t seem to have their stats balanced at all, and it was pretty out of control.
EVO was hard. It took me forever to beat that one boss fish, and after a while I kind of lost interest.
Both for Genesis. Chaos was controlling a 5 army squad on screen against another team as you compete for battlegrounds. It had funny animations and allowed for creative team selections. Oasis was a zelda type game on steriods. It’s still given me the biggest sense of exploration out of any game ever.
That’s the only game of its genre where doing critical attacks actually puts you at a disadvantage, since they do almost no additional damage, leave you in recovery animation, and enemies can easily hit you back immediately.
Yeah, whatever. I’ve done that multiple times. I’ve read every single letter of text in the game, I’ve run down the clock in every scenario, I’ve played every scenario with every partner just to see if things would change, I’ve taken on the Chaos Dragon with the worst weapons in the game just to see if it was possible (it isn’t), in fact, I’ve fought the Chaos Dragon with every level of every weapon in the game. And I’ve done all of this multiple times, playing for 8 hours a day for months. I’ve probably spent at LEAST 800+ hours on this game, so screw you guys.
