I sincerely think that organized religion is the absolute worst thing that has ever happened to this planet.

Where can I try out? Can I still play characters with conflicting religions to yours? Will I go to hell because of it? What about hadoukens being sort of like magic? Will you have a GG team?

I agree that a lot of organzied religion is a show and not real. Religion separates man in to groups and was man made. King James is the main one but I like the easy of reading NIV. I make sure it is in line with King James.

So is war but the old test is full of it. To tell I young kid to not be competitive and play isn’t going to happen. I think we have to be careful with some games that promote magic spills and so forth, which can be a form of witchcraft/darkness.

@Tataki, We get the joke. But as far as Events, GB, or Gameplay we compete competitively. The only difference is when we go home after wining/losing a tournament we try to avoide Pride in ourself’s,Trash Talking, or becoming upset at our team, our selfs, or other players because even the top teams don’t stay in 1st forever.

I don’t agree with proselytizing in this manner for a few reasons: first your treating your beliefs and religion like a business. Businesses do sponsorships. One of the most annoying things about guerilla proseltizing is how it comes off as insincere, impersonal, forced, fake, farce, an act. That’s what businesses, advertising, and marketing thrive on. Treating a belief or religion like a business undermines its integrity.

The name “Gamers 4 Christ” is pretty poor from a marketing standpoint. It’s ticky tack and chessy and sounds completely out of touch. What are you representing? Who are you trying to reach?
It’s a bumper sticker cute catch phrase. It’s broad, incomplete, and aimless.

You should have a focal point. Here’s an example: “The Calm Spirit”, if that was your team name and you focused on relieving anger and stress via religion, I can respect that a lot more because there’s a clear purpose there.

If you had you local church hold events and sponsor their members that would be more effective IMO
Why not take the time to learn more about an audience like FG players and the culture; likely to see less trolling too.
