i play SOME 3s, cvs2 i used to play, but blah. and tekken, i try, but its 3d man…i dont do well with those kind of games. i also know how to play smash bros melee and ggxx reloaded but no one plays those.

what psx to dc converter thingies does gamelords have? is it the dragoncast converter? i want to make sure i get a good one. are there any reputable places i can buy a converter? how much should i expect to pay?
gene and i were on our way to gamelords when we decided that 7 dollars just to play console is way too expensive. then we went to nickel city and the sticks are new p360s.
At least at gamelords, you dont have to worry about faulty controls, because you provide your own, if the controls arent good, thats no one faults but your owns. And only thing i dont like about nickel is no food or drinks inside, its REALLY hot in that small confined area where the fighting games are, and like i posted before, sticks have been broken one too many times over the years too gaurentee they will stay working for very long.
what arcade isnt hot? what arcade wants you to bring food and drinks? name an arcade that has never had a broken stick.
i understand if youve had bad problems with nickel city in the past, but dont be so negative. they got 3s for us, they fixed the sticks for us, what else do you want?
Didn’t go tonight, had some family stuff to attend to… I’ll be there again next week for the next series of tournaments for Tekken 5 at least… possibly throwing a ST tourney too.
Nickel city was ok, mostly cuz i got to hang out with ryan and his friends. But like ernesto said, i would OBVIOUSLY prefer the giganto-mego-omg-wtf-big-screen TV and my sexy sanwa custom. just the 7 bucks is a killer. and they close at 11.
and you should make the most out of that sexy sanwa by going to gamelords!

understandable. gta was really far from me, and so is gamelords. i know how it feels.
and all the times i went to nickel shit was broke. thats prolly why i have a bias against it.
gamelords is kinda far (farther than gt, but closer than nickel) but the location is just too dope.
And yes. That sanwa is damn sexy.
