I always use gamefaqs if I need a walkthrough for something or some shit. Usually only if I’m stuck for mad long.
Anyway it’s not all bad there. I do agree a mass majority of the people there are morons though. Still it has some good shit here and there.
i remember reading various mvc2 faqs on there, and i remember in one shuma faq the guy was giving tips on various matchups. for sent he wrote:
IS THIS A JOKE? HES BIG AND SLOW
for storm he wrote something along the lines of, straightforward matchup.
and i remember reading an akuma faq, it wasnt for 3s, it was for xvsf i think, where he was also like DONT THROW. i remember he said something like, if you accidentally throw someone, let them throw you back. 
I remember when people would let me “throw back” and I rewarded their kindness with a double-team super. :bgrin:
I will admit though that a lot of the people on gamefaqs are assholes, especially a few guys on the marvel thread.
I can see people using the actual FAQs, but I can’t even fathom why people post there. All the games worth talking about how their own forums where the non-challenged post. All fighting game stuff is its own tier of stupid there though.
I can’t believe light gun games beat out graphic adventures. But half the poll voters probably weren’t born when the last good King’s Quest even came out.

Stuff like ikaruga was ground breaking in my opinion and deserves more respect/.

Looking back I see that I’m on crack.
I actually thought there’re some good faqs around, like EChang’s Guilty Gear faqs and Kao Megura’s fighting games faqs. Or maybe those faqs do suck like SRK says and I’m blind, I dunno.
Huh…I always thought it was a given that everybody knew I was the one who wrote the FAQ.
And everytime I rev up for an update…I get caught up in some shit and the project gets tanked for another 3-4 months. :bluu:

nowadays is full of scrubs/noobs/idiots that claim theirselves able to teach a game to someone…
i’ll check only sometimes for new games movelists…nothing else
