GameClucks Lynnwood SF4 tournaments - 7/1 @7pm

So Gameclucks is hosting this Large tournament where a bunch of out of town brawl players will be attending this brawl/SF4 tournament. This will be on June 7th. The down side is that buy in will be $25. The upside is that GC guy will add $100 to the pot plus our $25 each. I don’t blame you if you can’t afford to pay $25, but because so many brawl players will also be entering the SF4 tournament, there’s a good chance one of us may walk away with over $1000.

Is this event in place of the monthly SFIV tournament?

not giving up necessarily, just need to not play casually instead of tournaments for a minute. and decide on one permanent alt character who has more vitality - like abel - and stick with it.

don’t mean to say I didn’t have fun though. I thought my matches themselves were fun, ours was p ridiculous! still can’t believe I teleported too early and you ultra just turned around and nailed me :lol: … but I get too competitive and butthurt when I lose when money’s on the line and I’m as broke as I am.

I might end up having casuals at my place this Friday. I’m working out the details about who and how many considering I don’t have a mansion like Zach, but I do have a decent size house with plenty of room for a half to full dozen peeps.

Double Edit: Yes Source, I play CEVO-P for a team that only plays matches and never practices because it’s practically dead in the states compared to the Euro scene.

I just got my PTO for June 7th off, I am so fucking there!

I have that whole weekend off so I gotta level up before hand.

Also, I just talked to my room mate and I’m having a little gathering at my house in Everett this friday. I talked to Riki and he’s down. It’s going to happen in the evening/night time so if you want to go, PM me and I’ll hit you up with the infoZ! It’s not going to be batshit crazy huge, because my house can’t handle much more than a dozen or so people so it’s based on a first come first serve basis. Bring food or drink if you are down to donate some for the SF4 action bound to happen.

I’ve got a 42" LCD TV, but then I have a shitty 25" CRT TV which I can set up, so if we want 2 set ups, I’ll need someone else to either bring an xbox or a PS3 copy of SF4 with another controller because I have a PS3 w/ 1 controller, but no SF4. Let me know what’s up.

Edit: A reminder, we’re here for casuals if you’re down to level up on your game, we’ve already got Riki-oh and Duggish showing up to this and possibly Nara.

Entry Fee: $10 for singles, $5 for Doubles.
Format: Double Elim Bracket

Price drop for the SF4 tourney play entree fee.

Listen, I think that every person should REALLY try to make it out to this if they can, it’s kinda like the second major this tournament season. This is a chance to pull some people in that might become beasts, and it’s also an oppertunity to SMASH some smash kids egos who think they are raw at this game on some 1337 status and shit.
