I remember seeing you, I want to say I had you trapped behind the counter while waiting to hop on some sfiv lol. Thanks for entering though, if you have more interest in the game and want to learn or get better just let us know there’s tons of places around here where sfiv is being held. And as much as ppl are hatin on smash, it was interesting to see how different melle and brawl were speed wise. I was really trying to get some casuals in for brawl with my trash Luigi.
You were the guy with the tekken 5 stick, right? Or the Afro comb? I’ll definitally look into more stuff but I’m stuck to carpools, public transit and my low income for travelling. I’m going to do my best to go to Northwest Majors though. I’m actually curious if anyone knows if I’ll be able to get in some friendlies with some of the games I’ve not been able to try yet, like Blazblue and MvC2. I understand especially taht Blazblue could be limited due to lack of cabinets (or is it coming out before then?)
Antoher thanks/apology to any of those that let me borrow or that I used their sticks. I actually had my T5 in the back, but I don’t think even Frank’s (if he is the one I’m thinking of) adapter was working.
I’m from South central BC, the OKanagan valley, by the way.
That was actually me with the T5 stick and that was Afro Cole with the Afro Pick. The adapter works but it’s alittle confusing to use at first.

Next time you’re down, just give us a holler. Generally Friday’s are big SF4 nights, so you might want to browse the forums a little and see if you can plan ahead of time what date you’ll want to come down.

As in Canada? You should talk with the peeps in the BC thread of this forum as well, if that’s the case. Paul and I try and go up to BC once in a while, but now that their best player has more or less quit SFIV, there’s less travel back and forth. Northwest majors should definitely bring a few heads down, though. There’ll for sure be at least 2-3 players coming down, so give these guys a holler-
Yeah, I talked to the BC guys a bit, it’s tough since they’re all in the coast (except deadfrog, who I did meet up and play a bit) and that’s a 5 hour drive, 120$ cad round trip on bus. I’m hoping they get a chance to host a tournament so I can really go down and meet them. I’ll definitally try to get in a carpool for the tournament though. Always cheaper in more ways than one.
Oh, sorry about the player mixups. I didn’t see any bisons other than Riki-Oh. I probably saw you, just didn’t see you play.

Ian = ??? Bison (I think he just chooses whatever’s there lol)
Duggish = ??? He uses Bison as back up.

Yeah seriously Frank, that’s about the only reason I don’t play Bison. I was actually very much liking Bison until I went to Preppy’s and was like… the last thing we need is another Bison player here.
Seems sort of unique to our area though, hopefully we’ve brewed up some ruthless M Bison formula to unleash upon Evo.
Judging by the lack of good online Bisons I’m sure Seattle will rep Bison hard for Evo. Japan has many great Bisons though.
