The Boston thread said there’d be fight nights every Friday? Judging from previous posts will that not be the case this week?
Like to start checking out the scene and getting serious. Heading over to the next fight night/casuals as a first timer.
Well since EVO is here alot of MA best are at Vegas. Im pretty sure that this Friday the Fight Night in Framingham is still going to happen.
So I heard last night that the Game Underground in Somerville, MA is closed for good. Unless we do something. I was thinking that the community can do something. Maybe we can buy it or something. Jamie what can be done???

If any other people in the area showed intrest i would be willing to give whatever money i could muster.
it’s a nice idea, but nobody ever really came out to these. The most we ever really had at a single gathering was the first one they had, had like 25 or so people, which looked really promising. After that, pretty much everybody stopped coming. We’d have maybe 5 or 6 people at a session. Another thing was the store had absolutely no customers. Maybe one or two kids would come in, play Xbox for an hour, then leave, but I was there Wednesdays and Sundays for gatherings for most of the day and I didn’t really see any customers. It’s the type of situation where I don’t think throwing money at the problem to reopen the store would do anything good for it in the long run. The area (and the town) is generally a bad spot for a video game store.
Guess im going to start having to take the train to Framingham one of there days.
