Myndgamez, next week we should do a special 2v2; Team Chun (You/Andre) vs Team Rog (Me/Nate). Hell, I’d put money down for that. It’d actually give me an incentive to practice more.
Chris, thanks a lot for the game info man. It’ll help me out a lot. Actually, I felt more comfortable with Ken in Third Strike. Maybe that’s because yesterday I realized that you can’t try to rush in right on the dot (at least, with attacks that can be easily read). I also liked Urien too.
Now that you mention it, with a new Mortal Kombat announced, I think its time we got our hands dirty with UMK3, guys. =P
I was thinking the same thing about the weekends, weekdays tend not to work to good for me either. Well if there’s any interest in doing weekend events, I’m down to host them. I have enough equipment to run about five systems, plus other junk. And most importantly an Atari Jaquar to get some “White Men Cant Jump” b 'ball action jumping off.
I’m in the Euclid/Richmond Hts/Willoughby Hills area, so I’m somewhat in the center of Manny and Chris’s homes.

Also Chris, I’m gonna post the tourney stuff in some gaming forums that I visit that have alot of locals in it.
ggs to all i played las night. i only got to play ssf4 once!! one thing to note is that if there are lots of people playing sf4 and waiting to play to get a rotation going where matches are 2 out of 3. that way everyone gets to play and you also get in the mindset of playing 2 out of 3 matches like in a tourny.

Yeah I’d be down for gettin games in over XBL. I just hate my damn SE stick for breaking down. Forward and Roundhouse doesn’t respond all that well, and LP likes to be really ultra sensitive. >.<
SE sticks are ass – definitely upgrade those parts for cheap, and it’s pretty easy.
Yeah, like Jason said, 2 out of 3 is a must, esp since that’s how tournies run. SFIV is a slower-paced game already so 3/5 is excruciatingly long, haha.
I can teach you all about Ken in 3s. Start by practicing his target combo: MP x HP xx jab SRK and MP x HP xx FB xx Super (these are both hit confirms – don’t do the SRK or FB xx Super unless the MP x HP hits). When you can do that practice landing them off his cross-up jumping MK.

Now that I’m home I can write a legit post lol.
Yeah last night was great tons of people a lot of people using different people in super so it wasn’t the same bore-fest despite there being 3 Chuns. Was great to see some Gouken and Makoto being played.
I had a blast playing HDR I haven’t played it in a long while so a lot of the SSF4 habits were still intact which screwed me up a bit but I started to get into the swing of things again near the end. But as I was mentioning I’d be all up for some A2:G and UMK3 since I really wanna learn both. Hell maybe a few more things like VS and KI if anybody is interested i’ll try to bring the set up my self.

It being 3 Chuns wasn’t a big deal to me…hell the fact that Chun had the most users is very very surprising.
Yeah, add me on XBL, though all of my fighting games are on the ps3. I tend to buy games for the PS3 just out of my pessimism for my 360’s life (seriously, I am on number 3 already, yay for Best Buy warranties).
Also, I can get in on some Brawl though I suck at Smash. Melee was probably the fighting game I was best at ever, and even then I wasn’t good, ha.
