Last night was really awesome; I was really impressed. The venue had the roomy feeling that I was talking out, great food for cheap. The free soda was a plus, and the bartenders were really social and friendly.
That big room would be awesome to host a tourney in… and those wings.
Oh. My. Lord. Those wings.

I didn’t know that a fair number of our guys played Third Strike. I didn’t play any at the 'Carthy’s, but me, Atlaus, and Azuro played a bit today, and it was awesome. DOUBLE X COPY MATCHES, RUN THAT SHIT BACK! xD

now to relearn all those aegis setups. i never had played 3s on a stick. i originally played this regularly (when i considered my self decent at this) when AC arrived on xbox.

i have no idea how it really started, but we just sat down and started screwing around. Lolling at all the bad habits that SF4 taught us as we played third strike again. Still it was hilarious (and sad) makoto and dudley being really good. chestos all day.

Hell, we even threw in double impact in for some extra fun (but god damn if i don’t love the art and backgrounds in that game more than 3s). denjin in double is so god damn broken. TWO STOCKS OF DIZZY FUN!

I know a couple people play MvC2 and I always have a station or two available for it should anyone who wants to play it decide to show up and want to do some sessions.

And yeah, McCarthys is our new venue. Right across the street from our old one. Parking is FREE and wings are 35 cents until 10p. Kitchen is open till about 1130p. Lots of space, and cheap scotch.

People still play MvC2 (including myself), it’d be great if we could get a decent rotation going in that game again.
