Hey guys! i finally got back from Gainesville GGs to everyone, hopefully i can comeback more often and maybe permanently start going there if i can Transfer to UF in the future.

Well, I’m all set for Saturday. I’ll probably head in there early on and see a little of Gainesville before going to the tournament. Are there any arcades/game rooms left there?
MVC2 with glitched 2P (?) in the game room.
Everything else is pretty meh IMO.
I live in Ocala but my woman lives in that area so I head up there once every 2 weeks or so. I always have a tough time finding players in JAX but I’ve played with a good amount of players there.
Tran and I both work Saturday at 5 so we will not be present. However we both have Sunday off and my draft day has been changed so if anyone was to hold casuals on Sunday, we’d be able to make it. As much as I love going to Jax, we’re going to Storm Underground 3 on the 3rd so I don’t really want to be there back to back twice because its a lot of gas money.
In regards to MvC3, I’ll be dropping my other teams for the time being to focus on another team just for fun. I love the 3 teams I consistently run but there are so many characters in the game that I haven’t really tried out. Its looking like Jill/???/Deadpool. I want to place Taskmaster in there so that I will have 3 new characters but I may just take the easy way out and play with Sentinel for now so that it will be a smaller learning load.

In fact I’m thinking of dropping marvel unless I can magically come up with a few more marvel discs.
EDIT: Let me clarify: 3S wasn’t on our radar at the last meeting I talked to these guys. In a day or so I’m going to contact all you guys and get a feeler for what I can get from you guys regarding contributions. While I’ll be running the tournament there’s no way I’m at the point where I can provide all monitors/systems/games. Check your inboxes for a PM in the next day or so.
I don’t know yet if I have to work Saturday but I’m guessing I do. If I don’t I can bring a Marvel disc.

I would provide a PS3 and a disc, but it’s better if you just stick to 360, really.
And also, all the hype for 3SOE in me died when I realized I still can’t connect my PS3 to the internet at my place.

Buck up, at least you can still practice your low forward uppercut kara uppercut combos while collecting sweet vault points. I approve of the new title. Ninety percent of the matches I saw when I walked by the 3s setup at Rob’s were Ken mirrors. We have to keep the U.S tradition alive.

I have been working on my shinning wizard. Unfortunately it is only at like 20% success… years of double tapping forward muscle memory is crippling my hand when I attempt to get that third forward tap in. I am down for some more Tekken next time. I would like to learn the basics so I am not totally incompetent when TT2 hits.
I fucking lolled at the thread title. When I saw Tran on Sunday, he was all “EVERYONE FUCKING USES KEN I’M CHANGING MAINS.” so he’s in a bit of a character identity crisis for AE. Next time we all play 3S, my Hugo better not be getting win streaks.

We should have a designated night for 3SOE tournaments. What days are most of you guys the least busy? Every day besides mondays are perfect for me. I get back from class at 1:45pm tomorrow so I’m free after that unless I decide to play a little Deus Ex HR.
