just got home like 15 mins from Tampa. Soooo tired. Tran was our highest placing in MvC3 out of our group. I was one game away from playig Flash Metroid on stream 
Sorry, but I won’t be in town I’d say go over to my apartment and get it but its with me in Seminole because of Gears 3. I will however be there every wednesday after this one. So don’t worry about it after this week
Alright I want your input guys (except for Hammy’s, fuck that guy):
Someone beat us to the reservation of the reitz rooms so we’re stuck with a room in little hall from 7:20 to 10:10 for this wednesday (we should be able to get wednesdays at the reitz rooms afterward though). I’m thinking of making the first WNF happen the next week at the reitz for the following reasons:
- We couldn’t get the room for more time (I want a room for at least 5 hours) and including set-up, and clean-up it means we’d be going from like… 7:35 to 9:55… almost doesn’t seem worth it when you consider…
- Parking near this location is god awful. Set up will be a bitch for me and could be hard to find for out-of-towners.
- I want to get this off to a good start and being at a classroom means it could be harder to get multiple setups going than in a room with regular chairs and tables…
- Being in a classroom means we could disturb other classes going on and I don’t even want to have to worry about an additional headache.
The pros to moving to next wednesday means:
- Better room where we could conceivably be as loud as we want.
- Easier access for parking, easier to find the room
- Once we reserve the rooms for the semester they’ll be no room changes or surprises (reserving classrooms run the risk of being cancelled/moved at the last minute, whereas the reitz doesn’t do that)
- Making it at one room for the whole semester rather than… the whole semester except the first makes things a little less confusing and I don’t have to make a big announcement about the room changes.
The cons:
- We start a week later in the semester
I dunno… give me some feedback guys.
I like it. I don’t mind it being the next week. Plus i have tests this week so it works out for me.
I would say to postpone it until you can get the Reitz. If you want people to keep coming, the first one needs to be the most fun/least pain in the ass for them to attend.

@Phil, the salty ragequits will have to be saved for this Saturday. and i’m mad at you for losing in Tampa. I almost beat that Tallahassee guy’s back-up team once and that means he’s pretty much a scrub. and we don’t lose to scrubs. Unless they play phoenix. or wesker. or wolverine.
@all my AE-playing friends, i watched three T. Hawk videos while at work this weekend. This not only qualifies me as the best T. Hawk in Gainesville. but the Universe as well. I’m pretty sure that’s right. Dont worry though, when i win EVO i’ll be sure to remember all the little people.

Gainesville Thread: We’re all closet homos.
so whenever all the details for WNF get ironed out, i’m gonna make some flyers with all the info. i spoke to the guys at R U game and the guy out at the waldo flea market gaming booth, they both said that i could bring them some flyers and they’d put one up and hand the rest out to people who are interested. trying to get as much turnout as possible.
on a slightly related note, if anyone is still interested in getting games in wednesday, i’d be willing to offer my place up as a venue. i live off of newberry right by the movie theater/bento. i have 3 TVs but only 1 PS3 so additional systems / games would be needed. hell, there is space for another TV if someone wanted to bring a full setup as well. i do have a large dog, in case anybody has dog issues/allergies, but he’s very friendly. if anyone is interested, post up and we’ll work out some details.
also every wednesday around 4 myself and a couple of friends go out to the swamphead brewery tap room to have a few beers. if there are any other beer heads like me, you should come out.

@Rob i think on Thursday we will start at Piano Bar. This is where the classy sluts frequent. Then we will at some point migrate to Sharab to facilitate grinding on said classy sluts. Finally, we will commence blatantly lying to entice the classy sluts to travel with us back to our respective humble abodes. They will of course be furious that neither one of us actually has expensive wine, a chocolate fountain, or a bounce house… but we will compensate with a productive night of wild monkey sex and all will be forgiven.
